It is located on 13 hectares of green space between Florence, Lucca, Chianti, and Cinque Terre. This luxury estate achieves the perfect balance between contemporary living and Italian traditions, providing a retreat for guests seeking privacy and relaxation within the lush greenery of nature. Villa Orizzonte Tuscany, originally a plantation, goes back to 1500. It has rarely changed hands, which is why its original architecture and designs remain largely intact. You will find this in the villa’s terracotta floors, wooden ceiling, stone façade, garden sculptures, and sophisticated elegance. The villa features 13 spacious bedrooms, a private swimming pool, several gazebos, a bar, multiple lounging places, a fireplace, and a cellar. There is also a private chapel, which goes back to the early 1600s.
The old plantation has 13 bedrooms, all with large double beds. Nine of them are ensuite. Bedroom 1 has an independent entrance and is just one step up, making it perfect for elder guests. It also has a sofa bed that can accommodate an extra person. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are accessible from the courtyard. Bedroom 6 is in the mezzanine studio area. They all come with a 32-inch television, mini-fridge, air-conditioning, coffee station, vanity kit, safety deposit box, and hairdryer. The bathrooms have the finest Italian marbled walls, giving them a classical look.
It is the impressive outdoor that makes Villa Orizzonte Tuscany truly special. The large private swimming pool is surrounded by many loungers where you can read a book, sip a drink, or just laze around with your family or friends. You can even take a dip in the evening as the pool area is properly lighted. The garden lighting and evening lights of the hilltop villages provide a very nice ambiance. Gazebos and patios are spread out throughout the garden. The poolside lawn is the perfect place to roll down. Fountains and garden sculptures will remind you of the long history of this rental property. Explore the garden to appreciate the lush natural beauty or walk up to the old chapel, which is just behind the main building.
You will find multiple dining and lounging spaces, all showcasing the classic elegance of the house. There are two sitting rooms, both with home-theater televisions, and a dining area that faces a large window, offering views of the garden. There is also a private bar, cocktail deck, and wine cellar. Arched doorways, stone walls, and wooden beamed ceilings run through the house, providing an antique and traditional touch. You can have a formal dinner inside the house or enjoy an alfresco meal outside, under the patio. The kitchen faces the outside terrace.
Orizzonte Tuscany is a staffed villa. Housekeeping is available daily, except Sunday. The garden and pool are also cleaned regularly. You can ask for the services of a private chef, babysitter, and chauffeur with additional cost.
The cities of Florence, Lucca, Pisa, and Siena are all close to this holiday villa. There are many smaller cities too that are very interesting like Forte dei Marmi, Arezzo, Montepulciano, and San Gimignano. Bolgheri, which is 124 kilometers away, produces one of the best wines in the world. Within 50 kilometers, you will find many restaurants and beach clubs. For food, you can go to the 3-star Michelin Enoteca Pinchiorri or the La Torre. Many guests like to visit Prada’s outlet in Florence.
