Villa Jukung is an exquisite beachfront four bedroom villa in Candidasa, Bali which is a solitary seaside town in the east coast of the island. The pure white theme of the villa beautifully complements the glittering aqua colored ocean, the swimming pool, and verdant gardens. The exterior of the villa is quite contemporary and modern, with sleek white surfaces and long glass windows. As you step in, it feels as if you step back in time, with traditional Balinese architecture and antique wooden furnishings greeting you. All the indoor living areas are surrounded by walls of glass that frames the stunning scenery outside like a picture. It is the ideal family-friendly tropical getaway for anybody who wants to experience a bit of paradise on earth.
This four bedroom villa comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. The deluxe style spacious bedrooms are placed in a way that the guests get to experience peace and privacy in their own separate spaces. The pure white theme in the rest of the villa is beautifully continued in the bedrooms with lovely white draperies hanging down from the wooden roof as a nod to traditional Balinese interior design.
Every bedroom gets their own private verandah space or a balcony – depending on which floor the bedroom is - with comfortable chairs facing the ocean. Even the pops of color used to decorate the bedrooms are very cool and close to nature, without disrupting the serene ambiance of the property in any way. The sleek white bathroom space is quite modern, with a couple’s bathtub and a separate shower area. Altogether, the bedrooms are just the right blend of luxury and tradition that you can hope for in a tropical villa.
You can wake up to the morning sunrise and step outside to the ocean when you are in Villa Jukung. When they say “beachfront” they truly mean it. You can either swim a few laps in the 13m swimming pool in the villa garden or walk over to the beach and have a dip in the ocean. A line of eight cushioned sunbeds awaits the guests under the large white huts on the pool deck, which makes for quite an aesthetically appealing sight as well. There are more sunbeds on the beach when you feel like going for a nice Bali tan to remember your lovely tropical vacation.
The indoor living area is a relaxing space facing the garden. With hardwood floors, white walls and wooden furniture, the living room perfectly blends the contemporary style and traditional elegance that the entire villa showcases. There is an entertainment nook near the staircase with comfortable couches that face a TV. The guests can also choose to lounge on the armchairs and watch the waves of the ocean, or read their favorite book. The dining table that seats up to 8 people is in the middle of the living room and gives a spectacular view of the ocean through the glass doors.
