Chalina Estate is a sizable property with spread-out lawns, manicured and terraced, and extensive, rich tropical foliage. The eight-bedroom holiday retreat is the personal paradise you have always desired with excellent facilities on offer. A quintessentially tropical haven, Chalina Estate has something for everyone, including a media room, swimming pool, alfresco dining and five-star facilities. Traditional Balinese architecture marks the property, giving you an authentic Balinese experience.
At Chalina Estate, there are eight bedrooms that are separate four in the main two-storey pavilion and three separate garden pavilions. The two master suites are housed on the upper floor of the main pavilion with king-sized beds and the first room has access to a balcony furnished with daybeds a for a comfy spot to gaze at the view. The second room comes with a mezzanine floor, that holds a queen-sized daybed. Both master suites have well-fitted en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. A study is also available which can be converted into another room, on request. The main floor has another room with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a stainless-steel bathtub and shower.
The more traditional garden bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds and offer a great view of the outdoors. Each of these three bedrooms has en-suite bathrooms with rain showers and a black marble sink. If you are traveling for a private event and need additional sleeping space, you can even book another room with 10 or so bunk beds.
Well-maintained koi ponds, with colorful fish, are nestled amidst rich tropical foliage, as well as towering palm trees throwing shade on the ground if you ever want to take a nap on the freshly-cut grass. The world is your oyster at Chalina Estate, and you can relax and rest all you wish. A lavish 35-meter swimming pool is available to you all the time, so you can swim laps, play volleyball or other fun water games amidst the naturally abundant tropical surroundings.
Lounge on one of the many sun loungers placed on the pool deck, a great spot to work on your tan or sip on some freshly-squeezed juice. There are rattan circular loungers as well as a traditional bale that houses a daybed. An outdoor dining and sitting area is also part of the picture, where you can enjoy alfresco lunching.
Housed under a traditional Balinese bale, with alang-alang roof, the main living pavilion is designed with an open-plan to ensure that guests the most out of the gorgeous view. There are hanging lights to illuminate the room, and traditional artwork donning the walls of the room. A large dining table takes up the centre, with space for 10 people. There are columns around the room with lighting that add an old-world charm and cast a vintage glow.
A few steps down is the expansive living space furnished with vibrant couches and sofas around a large coffee table, decorated with beautiful artifacts. A great place for relaxation, the living area is where you would probably end up all the time, especially after a trip around town. Another pavilion beside the pool houses a sitting area and kitchen/bar where you can get drinks.
If you have any special requests, like organizing parties or excursions around Canggu, then the staff including the villa manager will be all too happy to help you out.
There are multiple things you can do within the villa itself, however, the beautiful town of Canggu awaits with its tranquil beaches. If you are a lover of surfing then hit the waves at one of the beaches or go horse riding on Seseh beach. Looking for some trendy nights, then you can always visit the town of Seminyak for popular beach clubs and shopping spots.
The areas of Canggu and Pererenan are developing rapidly. A new villa is being constructed near Chalina Estate on the opposite side of the little river. Guests may experience audible disturbance during the project’s working hours, usually from 8am to 5pm daily.
