There are four-bedrooms in this Villa. The main two-storey pavilion houses two master rooms which are on the ground and upper levels respectively. The third and fourth bedrooms are located side by side in a separate pavilion, sharing a balcony and plush red coloured daybed.
All four of the air conditioned rooms are similar in design and lavishly furnished with a beautifully crafted king sized wood four-poster bed draped with mosquito netting, polished terrazzo floorings and ceiling fans. The rooms are tastefully decorated with an exquisite Javanese feel,with age-old Javanese antiques and Balinese paintings alluding the homey and comfortable touch. Adding a modern touch, the rooms are fitted with the latest entertainment system while the bathrooms inject a tropical feel, as it opens to a verdant garden amidst pebbled pavement and an open outdoor shower.
In addition, guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility as each of these rooms overlook the mesmerizing lagoon style free-form pool and lush colourful gardens, while guest wanting to embrace the spiritual side of Bali, can observe the daily offerings to the gods at the Villa’s very own garden temple.
Tucked between the tropical lawns and colourful lush landscaped gardens, is a 12-metres free-form private swimming pool with safety fencing to keep children safe. After a swim, guests can relax and sun-bathed on the soft comfortable sun loungers by the spacious pool deck, or sip some wine or indulge in a private massage, at the poolside gazebo adjacent to the pool. In addition, guests can enjoy a quiet intimate alfresco style meal at the outdoor dining area, while taking in the breathtaking sights of the pool and verdant lush gardens, filled with tropical plants from flowering frangipani to impressive ferns.
A breezy semi-open area leads into a high ceiling plush living area that features comfortable lounges and brightly coloured furnishings, fitted with the latest state-of-the art entertainment system. The living area is so comfortable you would want to hang-out there all day while indulging in your favourite movie on the DVD player or simply watch your children play. The Villa’s attentive and friendly staff are more than happy to help with arrangements for sightseeing tours,happy restaurant bookings, or suggestions for places to visit.They would also be more than to babysit the kids while you take some private time off for a relaxing massage, on site. There plenty to do around Villa Kakatua. Explore the naturally beautiful beaches - take a nice slow stroll along Batu Balong Beach right at the villa’s doorsteps or ride the waves at the famed surfing haunt, Echo Beach. The 5-star Hotel Tugu next door, Bali’s first museum-hotel, is worth visiting for its massive collection of priced Indonesian artworks and antiques. Not to forget, their award-winning spa that offers age-old Eastern therapies great after a long day of adventure. A great spot for a meal or drinks is Old Mans, just five-minutes walk away while The Lawn across the road is great for Sangria and watch surfers ride the waves. Pay a visit to the sacred Pura Tanah Lot, Bali’s most popular attractions. This ancient temple is best visited during sunset, although it is less crowded in the early mornings.
