Chalet La Ferme Du Bois is one of the oldest stone farmhouse situated in the picturesque village of Les Bois – Chamonix’s most sought after area. It has been lovingly restored with a unique touch. Shaped like an Alpine chalet, oozing with character, style and charisma, and having top-of-the range amenities.
With the capacity to house up to 10 persons, this amazing home, features 5 luxurious well-appointed bedrooms, large dining room, closed kitchen, spacious living space with a majestic fireplace, huge outdoor terrace with jacuzzi, leisure areas (cinema and games room), reading space, huge bathrooms, ski locker, boots heater and many more.
Surrounded by stunning greenery and overlooking the majestic mountains, it is a place to relax, have fun and enjoy special times like weddings, parties and other events with family and friends. With its large social spaces, big garden, authentic rustic and stylish décor, antique touches, such as ornate lamps, several giant framed mirrors, it is a haven, even for children, and a most wonderful getaway for a true Alpine experience.
There are 5 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in this home. All of which are luxuriously designed and furnished.
The luxurious and cozy deluxe en-suite masterbedroom, housed on the ground floor has a plush separable double bed, chest of drawers, chair and large wardrobe while the en-suite bathroom comes with top of the range fixtures, bathtub, premium toiletries and vanities, so cozy you’d want to lounge in it the whole day.
The other room is double or twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and has a separable double bed office chair and wardrobe. There is also an en-suite family bedroom that also has a separable double bed, chest of drawers, chair and wardrobe, and another family bedroom with a shared shower room and wc.
Step outside onto the vast terrace to take in the panoramic mountain views. Take a slow soak in the jacuzzi out on the terrace while enjoying the serene sights and chilly air. The comfy seating areas in the terrace affords you the opportunity to sip tea in the evening while enjoying the sunset or gazing at the stars at nightfall.
Inside, a large living area welcomes you with ample spaces for relaxation and enjoyment. Lie back and relax on the many ultra plush sofas, or take a quick afternoon nap on the extra bed in the living room while the majestic central fireplace keeps everyone warm especially during colder months. Find a book you enjoy and have a good read seated at the reading lounge. Bond with the family or friends over games in the games room or a movie marathon in the cinema room. Dine in style at the rustic large dining room on its beautifully crafted wooden table. Meals preparations are made easy at the closed kitchen that is equipped with a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, raclette machine, fondue appliance, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine for your convenience. Meanwhile, the kids play area keeps the little ones entertained throughout.
Our friendly staff will welcome you at the reception area. While beds are made on arrival, linens and towels change regularly and mid-stay and final cleaning is provided by our hardworking housekeepers. Pets lovers will be delighted to know that this is a pet-friendly home so you do not have to leave your pets behind. Private parking space is also available, convenient for those driving. Our staff can assist with making arrangements for any other services needed, however, these come with additional cost.
Chalet La Ferme Du Bois is a five minutes’ drive away or a 10-minute bike ride in the summer from Chamonix center, where there are plenty of activities to explore. A town with an eclectic mix of people from all over the world, a wide array of sporting and leisure activities, great nightlife, entertainment, things to do and superb scenery that can be enjoyed at whichever pace suits you. The lively streets of Chamonix are colourful with a mix of sport shops, guide offices, restaurants, bars and cafes. Every Saturday morning the town hosts an outdoor market brimming with local crafts and produce. On bad weather days there is a brand new SPA with hot springs, a cinema, bowling alley, an ice rink, a large sports centre and a fantastic indoor climbing wall.
