Named after a special shrub and tree that grows in the surrounding region, Apartment Sorbus is a brand-new 3 bedroom luxury accommodation in the heart of L’Alpe d’Huez. Designed as a modern contemporary apartment, this beautiful abode has all the necessities and more for a luxurious stay in the Alpe d’Huez region, providing for up to six guests the ease of access to the well known ski slopes of Alpe d’Huez. With a troupe of friends, with family, or on your honeymoon, Apartment Sorbus will make for an ideal accommodation choice for guests looking for simple luxury designs paired with city-center convenience.
With 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, it is able to host up to six guests comfortably. Two of the three bedrooms come with their own ensuite bathrooms that are equipped with showers, perfect for couples or parents who need a little more privacy to themselves. These two bedrooms also come with queen beds, a closet, and some storage space for luggage. The third bedroom is also equipped with a queen-sized bed. Additionally, there is a double bunk available for children located right next to the shared bathroom. The shared bathroom does not skimp on luxury at all, being the only bathroom with its own bathtub, especially useful for a warm bath after a long day on the slopes.
Its outdoor area comprises a large terrace that is nicely furnished with tables and chairs, great for lounging or even meals while enjoying the panoramic sceneries.
The interiors feature beautiful wooden designs paired with rustic tones in the curtains and furniture, often evoking the mental image of log cabins and old-world ski lodges.
As you enter the apartment, you are welcomed by the kitchen space which is amply equipped for preparing simple meals and a dining table that will easily seat six. At the same time, you will find a cozy living space right next to the kitchen. A strong design feature here is the glass doors that lead to the balcony, affording you 24 hours view of the beautiful Alpe d'Huez mountains. The very same living space is also equipped with TV and media channels for those colder days where staying in would be the wiser choice.
The lower level of the home houses the indoor pool, hammam, and sauna which is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows where you can have a swim or dip while enjoying the awesome snow-carpeted slopes. A ball pit is thoughtfully incorporated into this home where children have some fun. There is also a social area with a foosball table. A ski room with boot warmers is also at your disposal. And for those working on their trip, a home office space is provided to help maximize efficiency.
Upon arrival, guests will have access to our local team who will be more than glad to provide assistance to all our guests' needs and queries. Cars can be parked securely at its underground parking space. Our digital check-in and out system gives guests the flexibility of arriving and leaving at their own pace. Extra services such as private chef, airport transfers, grocery deliveries, ski lessons and more can be arranged by our team with additional costs.
Being right in the middle of the Alpe d’Huez means guests will be able to access all the conveniences of the area, with restaurants such as Pizzeria Pinocchio, Le Pic and L’ardoise all within walking distance from the apartment. True to the region, cafes are also in abundance, guests will have no shortage of coffee-source around them. There are also other recreational options within the vicinity such as spas and tourist spots, and all this set in the foothills of the local ski slopes directly behind this apartment.
