A sensational beachfront location, a fabulous infinity pool and a beautifully landscaped tropical garden with fantastic sea views, The Frangipani is an amazing 9-bedroom holiday retreat where holiday dreams come true. This beach sanctuary comprises of 3 luxury villas: Villa Hawksbill, Villa Leatherback and Villa Oliver Ridley. Together, they share the pool and the on-site tennis court. The Frangipani Tree is great for large families, retreats and events located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, just a few km from Galle.
In total, this boutique property houses 3 villas and 9 bedrooms. 5 of the bedrooms are located at Villa Oliver Ridley, 2 in Hawksbill Villa and 2 in Leatherback Villa. All the bedrooms are equipped with overhead ceiling fans and air-conditioning. The rooms are furnished with four-poster beds and sitting areas and each room has a private en-suite bathroom where you can take a hot shower or in some cases, a bath. Every room also has a private terrace or balcony with a place to sit and enjoy breakfast and sunbeds for relaxing and sunbathing.
The garden is huge with expansive manicured lawns and tropical palm trees. The estate boasts an impressive 35-meter infinity pool and a private tennis court. There are sunbeds and hammocks, ponds with fountains and what’s even more breathtaking: the uninterrupted ocean views! There are several sitting spots at the garden’s edge, nearly bordering the ocean - perfect for sunset drinks!
The living room is very spacious and styled elegantly. There are 2 comfortable sofas to relax on, reading a book (a selection of books is available) or watching a movie on the flat-screen TV. The communal living space also features a teak wood bar with 5 high chairs - a great spot for hanging out together with drinks and good music. The dining area is located outside on the covered terrace, overlooking the garden and pool.
At The Frangipani Tree, you can expect professionally-trained staff to make your stay even more worry-free and wonderful. Enjoy housekeeping services, security, butler services and don’t hesitate to ask the staff all of your questions - they’re happy to assist! A private chef is available at additional costs.
The Frangipani Tree is located on the west end of Thalpe Bay near Unawatuna and Galle Fort. A great location to explore national parks, beach towns and historic places. In other words, there are plenty of things to see and do. Galle Fort, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is just 8 km away and this famous town is not only of great historical interest but it is also home to charming modern cafes and boutique shops. The international airport of Sri Lanka is 207 km away.
