The chalet is located in the renowned town Hakuba which hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics, just 7 minutes drive from the nearest ski lifts. Spend a day on the slopes and wandering Hakuba, before heading back to the chalet to relax in front of the wood burning fire. The luxurious, 3 bedroom chalet offers modern, deluxe amenities within a traditionally built chalet. Wooden interior paired with leather furnishings creates a comfortable setting for a family holiday or a getaway with friends.
Hygge Chalet Hakuba’s 3 bedrooms are spread across the 2 floors of the chalet. The master bedroom is tucked away on the ground floor with 2 twin beds, clean and modern decor keeps the bedroom airy and bright. Additional furniture such as a driftwood dressing table adds a traditional touch to the room. The ensuite has its own bathtub and shower, with extra bathroom amenities available. Grand windows in the bedroom offer an undisturbed view out to the terrace and garden. Watch the snow flurries fall in the winter or the sunrise in the summer all from the comfort of your bed.
The remaining 2 bedrooms are on the first floor, both furnished with twin beds and an additional sofa bed. The wooden decor ensures the bedrooms keep the authentic Japanese chalet feel.

The second bathroom is also located on the ground floor, with the same amenities of a bathtub and shower, you can avoid arguments when a fellow traveler is luxuriating in their bath too long.
A specifically designated laundry room and ski storage area are the remaining rooms on the ground floor. The convenience of having your own laundry facilities will make Hygge Chalet Hakuba feel more like home.

For beginners or expert skiiers, Hakuba has a ski run to match all levels of ability, the whole family can enjoy a day on the slopes. Just 2 minutes walk from the chalet is a bus stop with shuttles that run daily to the slopes further afield. When travelling in summer, you can walk around the town taking in the gorgeous nature or take part in activities such as paddling, hiking or bike riding, all year round Hakuba has something to offer.
