Adults can stay in the king bedrooms, while the children can be accommodated in the montagne. This means, you can travel as a large group – an extended family or you can travel with your friends and their kids – three couples with young children. All the bedrooms have smart televisions, study tables, and bedside reading lamps. Two ensuite bathrooms have bathtubs. One has a shower.

The villa gets its name from Merbau, which is a type of wood you would typically find in Australia, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. It has an orangish-brown color. All bedrooms feature wood paneling from this material. It provides natural warmth.

Apartment Merbau is located in Chalet 1839, a modern building on the well-known Route du Front de Neige. It is an awesome location as Merbau is in the heart of Les Gets. You will only be a few minutes walking from the ski lifts, and from many restaurants and bars. It is at the foot of the main slope in the middle of the ski resort.

The wide balcony gives you gorgeous views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You don’t even have to go out. There is a seating area on the balcony where you can easily spend an entire day admiring these views. The balcony runs through the entire backside of the house.

The living room is a warm and cozy place to relax and spend quality time with the family. It features sofas and chairs for everyone and a modern coffee table. Everything faces the fireplace, which provides warmth on a cool evening. Earthen lampshades hanging from the wall provide a dreamy ambiance. The ceiling of this room is typically Alpine. The dining area is a part of this room. It has a table for 8 guests. A wide glass sliding door from here opens to the balcony, which has a second lounging space.

The kitchen has a second dining area, where you can have your breakfast and some snacks. Of course, you can carry the food to the balcony as well if you want to enjoy the views while eating.
