A modern Japanese home in Niseko, only 100 metres from the shuttle bus stop to Hirafu, Kitanishi 3 is a comfortable, inviting and functional property with four bedrooms. Kitanishi 3 can be rented out alongside neighbouring Kitanishi 2 if you are travelling with a larger party. With views that sweep across the majestic peak of Mt. Yotei as well as the snowy panorama of Niseko, Kitanishi 3 is the idyllic base from where you can explore nearby skiing villages of Hirafu and Hanazono as well as the local shops, restaurants and onsens.
With four bedrooms, one of which comprises bunk beds for children, Kitanishi 3 can accommodate up to nine guests with swift ease. The bedrooms are mostly furnished with double beds that can be split into singles upon request. Some of these bedrooms are fitted with flat-screen TVs. The bedrooms are designed in true rustic fashion with wooden floors and board-formed concrete walls. Ample wardrobes provide space for all your belongings including your valuables.
The rooms have temperature control for your comfort and you can relax on your plush beds while enjoying the views from your large windows as well. There are three bathrooms with bathtubs and/or showers, towels, and other modern amenities.
All around Kitanishi 3, you have heaps of snow settled on the ground, a fine white powder that is perfect for snowball fights with kids or making snow-angels. The beautiful scenery is nothing short of serene with the quiet and peaceful ambiance owing to the winter weather. You can make your way to the local village for further exploration or relax on the balcony with a steaming hot cup of tea to relieve some of the cold and instead relish a warmth even while spending time outdoors.
A contemporary living area with modern furniture and fixtures awaits your arrival at Kitanishi 3. In complete contrast to the silent natural outdoors, the living area is thriving with the crackling fireplace, Apple TV and English on-demand channels, free Wi-Fi for endless Netflix streaming and so much more. Lounge on your comfortable quilted sofa or plush armchair while everyone spends time catching up on lost stories, telling tales, and having a good time. The living area has been decorated in a stylish fashion with panel wall art, metallic and wooden furnishings and light-wood floors. The glass walls allow unobstructed views of the magical landscape even while indoors.
The living area is open-plan which means that it accommodates both the dining area and the kitchen in the same space. This so because it is easier for families to spend time together preparing food in the fully-equipped, western kitchen while the kids eat on the eight-seater, light-wood dining table. The kitchen even has a breakfast bar with stools for additional seating. Awash with natural light and the warmth from the hearth, the living area is immediately soothing for the soul. There are some books as well for the bibliophile amongst your group.
Kitanishi 3 is self-serviced where you have complete use of the fully-equipped kitchen, the washer and dryer area for your laundry and each part of the house. There is parking available for one vehicle in case you’re renting.
You have the buzzing village streets within steps of the house so you can explore the local stores selling homemade wares or eat at an authentic Japanese restaurant to try out the Niseko flavours. Michelin-star restaurants are plenty in Niseko as well. Some of the activities you can engage include skiing and soaking languidly in the hot springs or onsens.
