The Pura Kehen temple is one of Bali’s best, and this ancient temple is estimated to have been built way back in 1206. Rising in terraces up the hillside, the sides of the steps are lined with ornate mythical statues. Typical of Hindu temples, the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu is depicted and carvings all around the temple are intricate and well worth a visit.
