On the gentle slope of a hill, away from the crowded beaches and the touristy areas, you will find a holiday villa that is a world of tranquility and peace. Villa Pastels is a home for 8 guests. But it doesn’t feel crowded as the property is spread over a large estate within a gorgeous tropical garden. Enjoy island life as you sit on the terrace overlooking the impressive scenery. Linger amid the greenery in the sunny lounging areas. The private swimming pool is majestic. You can swim anytime you want or lay on a lounger with a book in hand. Those loving the outdoors can hike up the surrounding hills and explore the countryside.
Villa Pastels is a fantastic rental property for families and friends who want to holiday together in privacy for a memorable vacation. The villa is located in the Vitet neighborhood of St. Barts Island. This is a hilly area away from the coastal region. However, you will still be only a 10-15 minute drive from several scenic beaches. Relax and enjoy the company of your group or plan day trips to make the most of your stay in this Caribbean paradise.
The property consists of four bedrooms that can easily sleep eight guests. If you are traveling with family, it doesn’t matter where the kids, the parents, or the grandparents stay because they all have similar designs and comforts. Having said this, the parents might want to select the first bedroom as it opens to a private terrace. It also has a walk-in closet. Two bedrooms in the villa have king beds, while the others have twins.
The house is built over a single level in true Caribbean style, so all guests can stay close. They are all air-conditioned and ensuite. All four bedrooms also have satellite televisions, DVDs, and programmable safes.
Outside, you will find an impressive sun terrace surrounded by plants and many tall trees. The terrace has several sections, so it never feels crowded even when all 8 guests are outside. At the center, there is a private swimming pool and cushioned sun loungers and chairs around the edges. You can sunbathe or relax with a cool drink and enjoy the fantastic views.
You can, of course, plunge into the inviting pool anytime you want. In the evening, the pool and terrace are lit up so you can carry on swimming, chatting or reading. At one end, there is a wonderful gazebo that provides shade for you to relax if the midday sun seems too hot.
Inside, the chic decor lends a lighthearted feel. It has an open-plan room with the living area on one side and the formal dining space on the other. The living area is wonderfully cozy. You will want to retire to this space in the evening, perhaps to watch television with your family or plan for the next day. It has a study table too, which you will find very handy, in case you have to work.
The dining area features a 10-seater farm-style table for the entire group. You can get views of both the pool and the nearby ocean from here. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee machine, refrigerator, and juicer. There is even an ice maker and a wine storage unit.
Villa Pastels is a self-service rental property on Saint Barthélemy Island. Be sure that the house has everything for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping team will come daily to keep it clean, except on Sundays and holidays. You can use the kitchen appliances, barbecue, swimming pool, sound system, television, internet, and air-conditioning. For anything else, just call our concierge. The person will be happy to help.
Vitet in the east-central part of the island has Morne de Vitet, which is the highest point on Saint Barthélemy. It has an elevation of 286 meters or 938 feet, which is not too steep. You can easily go on a hiking trip and get fabulous views from the top. Spend time relaxing in this luxury villa but do plan to visit the three nearby beaches – Petit Cul-de-Sac, Grand Cul-de-Sac, and Marigot. Most of the diners and winers are close to the beach.
