Corossol is serene and beautiful and reflects what the Caribbean used to be before the arrival of mass tourism. Nestled between hills, this small village has a turquoise ocean and only a few homes. There are no large hotels, which keeps the droves of tourists visiting Saint Barthélemy away. It is the perfect setting for an intimate holiday with your partner – a romantic escape from the crowds where you can honeymoon, spend your anniversary, or just go on a special vacation that you want to remember for a long time.
Petit Saint Louis is a one-bedroom villa for two guests. It offers direct views of the beach and the harbor. You can also see the island’s capital, Gustavia at a distance. The location, ambiance, facilities – everything about this holiday rental is perfect for a couple. You are sure to love your stay here. The villa is best for couples, but it can also accept a small family with a young child.
The villa only has a single bedroom that can sleep two guests. The four-poster king bed has mosquito protection. There are extra cushions for your comfort. The room has side tables with reading lights, chairs, a large wardrobe, a television, a sound system, a key safe, an iron, and an ironing board. It opens to the private terrace.
The ensuite bathroom is modern. It has a shower, his/her basins, and a hair dryer. Towels and toiletries are provided.
There is a wonderful porch right in front of the house. It has both dining and lounging areas with rattan chairs so you can enjoy the scenery while having food or just sit here to appreciate the beauty of nature. This shaded area is surrounded by a lush garden. So, you are adequately protected even if it is raining. The Caribbean can look lovely when it rains – it is something to be seen and experienced.
There is a small plunge pool and a wooden deck in front of you. Just immerse yourself in the water with a glass of champagne and enjoy the views. There is also a recliner on the deck where you can relax after a dip in the ocean or the plunge pool. The Corossol beach, ocean, and, hills are directly in front of you. A private and direct footpath leads to Corossol Beach.
Inside this luxury property, you will find an ensuite bedroom and a kitchen. Its dining and lounging area is outside, under the shaded porch. Why would you want to spend time indoors, especially with such a gorgeous view all around? Most guests at Villa Petit Saint Louis are either at the beach, visiting the other attractions of Saint Barthélemy, or relaxing under the porch, and will only move inside the house when they have to sleep.
The kitchen has an oven, microwave, blender, kettle, juicer, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, and ice machine.
This holiday rental has everything for a couple. There is a parking space for one vehicle. The house is air-conditioned and has a strong Wi-Fi internet connection. There are pots and pans in the kitchen. Towels and toiletries are provided in the ensuite bathroom. This Caribbean-style bungalow is separated from the other properties, but you can be sure that a housekeeper will come daily, six days a week, to keep it clean. You can also book the services of a chef or a masseur.
The fishing village of Corossol is north of Gustavia. This is the only place on the island where you will find traditional boats, lobster pots, and dories. Straw weaving is a local tradition of the village. Many villagers make hats and decorative accessories. The village also has the International Seashell Museum, which has a collection of 9,000 seashells from around the world. You can dine at the Israeli restaurant Sella. Nearby Gustavia have many more options.
