Built and festooned like an authentic Tuscan country home, Villa Dei Limoni> in its beige-colored walls is truly astounding not only in size but also the design and amount of thought that goes into its upholstery and furnishings. As part of the 18-century parent estate called Villa Castelletto in Sinalunga, Siena, this 5-bedroom accommodation can house up to 14 guests, consisting 10 adults and 4 children, that is. An abundance of green ranging from trees, the grassy lawn and living moss that drapes over the exterior create a visual sensory for sore eyes, while the indoors are decked with wooden furniture that adds to the vintage, rustic atmosphere that the owners had planned for this villa. Guests staying here will have privileged access to the facilities and common grounds of Villa Castelletto, and be part of a historical legacy with some of the most unique, authentic experiences that will be up the different alleys of interests.
With 5 bedrooms to sleep 10 guests at this villa, they are built on cotta-tiled flooring and are all built with their own ensuite bathrooms to boot. 3 of the bedrooms are fitted with double beds, one of which has a 4-poster size bed and they are all spacious with ample room to move around. The other 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds each, and come in steel bed frames for all with wooden wardrobes and side furniture to accentuate the classic vibe.
The outdoors of Villa Dei Limoni consists of a round-shaped swimming pool paved around with bricks, while sun deck chairs lie by the side on a grassy lawn. A unique brick-built sheltered terrace spot overlooks the pool with more seats below its arched cover, while framed by tall trees and other lush greenery around it.
Step inside and guests will be greeted by an elongated interior with arches and wooden ceiling beams, with each arch demarcating one section from the next. The lovely living room with its white sofa couch and cosy farmhouse rug faces an indoor brick-built fireplace, while a wooden dining table with chairs for a small gathering is located just next to it. Across on the other end of the space is the dining hall with its long and solid wooden dining table with high-back chairs. A second dining section with turquoise and beige chairs can be found in the spacious rear end of the house which also features an adjoining kitchen with its wooden cabinets and drawers for a countryside ambiance. Floor-to-ceiling double doors are built here for guests to fling them open out to the greenery outdoors.
Free WiFi Internet access is provided for guests, as with other facilities like baby cots for young toddlers and off-street parking bays. For housekeeping service, this is chargeable, while the concierge team will be happy to assist guests for any of their requests.
Guests at Villa Dei Limoni will be able to conveniently travel out to nearby towns including Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Siena and Arezzo which are approximately 15 to 30 minutes away. A host of attractions await guests for exploration of Sinalunga itself, which is a great hub for wines, cheese, cold cuts and a variety of local foodstuffs. Elsewhere, guests would certainly love the charming and beautiful countryside in which one could take cycling tours or go for a truffle hunting outing. Not to be missed are experiential tours for the Chianti, Chianina and Cinta farms which breed local cattle and free-range wild pigs for guests to witness first hand.
