Sisindu Tea Estate is a spectacular hilltop villa located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, near the city of Galle. This 6-bedroom colonial-style holiday estate boasts inspirational views of tea plantations, valleys, forests and gardens and it can accommodate up to 14 guests. Sisindu Tea Plantations has a private spa and a fabulous infinity swimming pool. Sisindu Tea Estate houses 9 bedrooms, each equipped with AC. There are 4 bedrooms with king-size beds, 1 with twin beds and another bedroom with 2 double beds, making it possible for groups of up to 14 guests to stay at this villa. The bedrooms are designed tastefully with high ceilings, beautiful handmade rugs and textiles, antiques and art.
The master bedroom has a living space of its own with sofas, armchairs and a large selection of magazines and books to read. Having said that, most of the bedrooms are very spacious and they also come with daybeds, sofas and/or relax chairs. Each room has a private en-suite bathroom and some have luxurious bathtubs and rain showers in the open-air.
The garden is a fantastic tropical paradise with ponds, fountains, breathtaking views and a gorgeous infinity swimming pool. If not swimming in the pool or suntanning by the poolside, there are plenty of secluded garden spots to enjoy some solitude and gaze at the breathtaking surroundings. The outdoor area features expansive yards and tall trees and the pool is tiled with natural green tiles like some sort of lagoon. Such a heavenly place! There’s also an alfresco dining area in the garden and you may spot exotic birds or peacocks while enjoying breakfast outdoors. Up for sunset drinks in the afternoon? The rooftop terrace is the best spot! On top of that, the villa has a yoga shala.
The living room features a large, semi-open living space with vaulted ceilings adding an even greater sense of spaciousness. The villa is decorated with all kinds of artefacts, poofs, rugs, plants and colourful cushions. There are more than enough places to sit and dine. Whether you want to hang-out altogether or you want to cuddle up with a good book to read - you will find just the perfect spot at Sisindu Tea Estate! The kitchen is also very spacious with a kitchen counter and high chairs. For air-conditioned comfort and movies, go relax in the media lounge with some drinks and snacks. The media room also features a writing desk with forest views. Did we mention the private spa on-premises?

The villa sits in the hills surrounded by forests and mountains and yet, it takes just a short drive (5 km) to get the beach and the Unesco World Heritage city of Galle is also nearby. Go to Unawatuna for beach time, surfing, swimming and sunsets. Go to Galle for the historic Galle Fort, boutique shops and charming cafes and restaurants. Go explore national parks, spot nightlife and see the beachside turtle hatcheries. It’s 204 km to the international airport.
