Holidaying at Casa di Quercia is like staying in a private rustic castle hidden away in the countryside of Tuscany - arguably the most beautiful region in all of Italy. Hills, vineyards, medieval towns, the surroundings and stunning and unspoiled. The estate sits on 5 acres of fertile land and it has its own vegetable garden where you can pick fresh veggies, herbs, and fruit. The villa is a restored home from the 19th century, featuring a gorgeous infinity swimming pool and a light-filled living room with a fireplace. The villa has 5 bedrooms which is ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a special nature retreat in Tuscany.
Casa di Quercia has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. 2 additional guests can stay in the attic upon request.
The 5 bedrooms are located on the first floor of the villa. There are 3 double rooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom and there are 2 twin rooms that share a bathroom.
The attic has a corner sofa bed which could sleep an additional 2 guests.
The garden features a stunning 20-metre heated infinity swimming pool and a stone terrace with sun loungers and parasols. You can choose to have breakfast and/or dinner by the poolside while gazing at the views of hills and forests. There are 2 outdoor dining terraces, each with a long table for up to 12 guests. The villa has a wood-fired pizza oven and a private vegetable garden where you can pick all kinds of veggies, fruit, and herbs.
Casa di Quercia has separate living areas for relaxation and dining. The sitting room features an original open fireplace and comfortable sofas. The library/entertainment room features a flat-screen television, DVD-player and Chromecast toggle. There are board games available and there is a large collection of books to choose from as well. The dining room features rustic terracotta floor and wood ceiling beams. A round wooden dining table stands on a beautiful Persian rug. Original art is framed on the walls. The kitchen has the feel of a traditional Italian kitchen with its spaciousness and all the wooden cabinets and cooking utilities and kitchenware. There is a kitchen island in the middle and there are modern amenities as well such as a dishwasher, ice dispenser, and a breakfast table. In the utility room, you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is free wifi, parking for 6 cars and a telephone for local calls. Wood for the chimney is available and there is a BBQ. Families traveling with a baby can make use of the baby cot.
Casa di Quercia is located in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by hills, forests, olive groves, and vineyards. The villa sits south of Arezzo, a charming and lively town from the 15th century that you will want to visit. The region is especially famous for truffles, cured meats, and traditional Italian pastries and sweets. Drive to Chianti Hills to get your taste of some delicious local wines. It takes around 1 hour to drive to famous cities such as Florence and Siena.
