The Italian owner, himself an architect and interior designer, has restored the residence that fully respects the Tuscan tradition and furnished it with personalized, self-designed furniture pieces with antique items. The property itself is made up of a main stone-built farmhouse on the estate and a guesthouse, which are tasteful, luxurious and sophisticated thanks to the impeccable interior design mastery of the owner. It is not surprising that the photos of the villa have been published in many interior design magazines, and the outdoors continue to beckon with 360 degree views of the countryside and highlands of Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi.
There are 7 bedrooms at this villa that are spread across the main residence and the guest house. Built of 2 storeys, the ground floor of this main farmhouse features a double bedroom with a 4-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub to boot, while upstairs on the first floor, is where the Master Bedroom is with its 4-poster bed and ensuite bathroom with bathtub as well. There are also 2 double bedrooms on this level, one of which has its own ensuite bathroom while the other one shares a bathroom also with a bathtub with a twin bedroom. All rooms here on this floor are fully air-conditioned and 2 more portable units can be provided upon request. Over at the guest house meanwhile are the 2 remaining bedrooms to sleep 4 pax, namely the twin bedroom and a double bathroom with each ensuite bathroom for both.
A quiet location where this villa is nestled certainly bodes well for guests, who can get to enjoy and savour some outstanding countryside views in serenity, such as the Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi that are regarded to be among the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. A large rectangular swimming pool measuring 15m X 6m is most appealing to take a swim or long dips during long summers, and surrounding the perimeters of the property is green, grassy lawn as well as the strip of sheltered terrace furnished with lounge chairs that guests could sit around and have conversations, or do nothing at all.

Villa Lavacchio 14 is located just a few kilometers from the village of Montalcino, and in an area renowned for its excellent wine production. This is hence an opportunity for guests to make arrangements to some of the surrounding wine estates for tours and some wine tasting sessions. Just a 5-minute drive or 3.5km away is the famous Castello Banfi, where guests can visit the hamlet and more cellars, enjoy great wines and have a sampling of the balsamic vinegar, besides dining in one of the many fine restaurants.
