There are seven bedrooms at Podere Salicotto Villa, one of which is housed in the barn, while the others are in the main house. The six bedrooms are accessible only by external staircases, as was the norm in the 19th century. Each bedroom features air-conditioning, heating, and ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are bright and sunny, comfortably furnished with double beds, which can be separated as single beds. There is vibrant artwork on the walls, bright green windows that overlook the stunning views, armchairs, and study areas.
At Podere Salicotto Villa, you are never too far from breath-taking views. With Mt. Amiata and Montalcino’s hilltop in the south, Siena in the north, and the village of Chiusure in the east, you will be awestruck by the beauty that lays ahead. There are benches and chairs all over the grounds so you can sit, read, or paint. A BBQ kitchen provides the ideal summer escape while the infinity pool is a refreshing distraction. The villa itself sits majestically in the centre of lavish, well-kept lawns that are perfect for a run or a walk.
The refurbished barn is built over two levels with open-plan layouts that house the lounge, study, dining area, and kitchen. The ground floor features an exquisite living room with bright pastel yellow walls, slanted wooden beam ceilings, and terracotta tiles. The patterned curtains, rustic wooden chairs, and bright easy chairs add to the old-world charm. The leather sofas, bookcases, and armoires offer you the chance to lose yourself in a good book. The living room is cosy and opens directly to the outdoors so you can easily move in and out.
The lower floor at Podere Salicotto Villa is occupied by the wine cellar with Rosso and Brunello wines available round the clock. The upper floor is dedicated to dining and relaxation with a fully-equipped kitchen , dining area, and a lounge with a sofa bed. It also houses the seventh bedroom at the villa with a double bed.
The owners are a lovely couple who stay in a secluded part of the main house. You may get recommendations on what to do and see around the area from them! Daily maintenance of the pool and garden ensures the villa remains in top condition. Services included are air-conditioning, wi-fi, final cleaning. Every three nights, you will also receive free laundry. On-demand services are organic breakfast, additional laundry, cooking classes, professional meals, yoga classes, and more. Some services will be charged extra.
