As large French windows afford for an abundance of sunlight to stream in and brighten the interiors, guests will be pleased to note that the house is a labor of love by the family owners who went to great lengths to choose the paint colors, design the kitchen and to source for well-appointed furniture from antique shops and market to deck the different nooks and corners of the villa. Its outdoors is defined by an alluring swimming pool and pergola as among the prominent features. The villa is built with 5 rooms to lovingly host 10 guests within.
The 5-bedroom sleeping area for 10 guests is spread over 2 storeys of the property, namely the ground floor and first floor. The ground floor one opens with the 1st double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom designed with facilities for less-abled guests. Upstairs on the first floor is where the 4 remaining bedrooms are, made up of 2 twin bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms. Rooms are cheery, light and breezy with touches of well-loved classic pieces.
The exterior grounds feature a vineyards and an open landscape that begins with the woods of Marsiliana in the background. Out in the garden, a spacious pergola fitted with tables and chairs can be seen, where guests could dine alfresco at or simply to chill out. And no facility is complete without a swimming pool, and it is here that guests can have their dips and swim within the 7m X 15m perimeter of the pool area.
Convene within the breezy and cheerful disposition indoors that is designed with large French windows that allow guests to transition freely in and out of the home. This villa is a showcase of family love and labour poured into having the right paint colour for the walls, the selection of beautiful furniture procured from antique shops and markets, and making sure that everything comes together in an effortless blend of taste, style and concept. One of the living rooms downstairs is equipped with a fireplace, and another leads out to the garden. The cosy dining hall with its solid wood dining table and chairs adjoins the fully-equipped kitchen space that is exquisite in its finishing and design, which also features a fireplace for guests to hover around.
Guests who stay at this villa would be happy to know that it is disabled-friendly with its various amenities provided, as well as dog–friendly where guests could bring along their pet dogs. The staff will provide change of bath and bed linens, and other service available upon request includes central heating and a cook for hire to help whip up meals.
Villa Cutignolo Podere is located next to a road that leads from the hamlet of Marsiliana to Capalbio, which is a charming Tuscan hilltop village that has become chic and fashionable over the past 10 years or so. With the main hamlet of Marsiliana located about 5km away, guests will come across a small supermarket, a bar, a bank and post office in what would be considered as the nearest shopping and grocery area from the villa. Just about 14km away, guests will be able to also reach the nearest beach. Not to be missed are the famous Saturnia spas, the seaside resorts of Port Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano as well as the WWF National Maremma Park.
