Built over 70 years ago firstly as a farm, it stood the test of time transformed into the lovely home that it is today. Being near a large Montalcino wine estate and dairy means having access to full-bodied wine literally at your doorstep - certainly a dream for wine enthusiasts.
Infused with modern elements, this lovely home houses 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, complete kitchen, sitting room with fireplace, dining hall, games room, utility room, covered terrace and seated on lush grounds with a large private pool, BBQ area, Boules pitch and private onsite parking, accommodating up to 8 people.
It boasts terracotta tiles throughout, wood beamed ceilings, wood burning fireplace, cooling stone walls, an electronic security system, an old school well in the garden plus large windows and intricate scriptures and paintings giving it a unique personality.
Surrounded by beautiful Brunello grape vineyards across the quaint Amiata valley amidst lushious greenery and foliage, it offers ample spaces, whether you are travelling with a large group of friends or family, to spend an uninterrupted vacation.
On the first floor, there are four beautifully designed bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms overlook the majestic Montalcino vineyards and comes with en-suite bathrooms of which one has a bathtub while the other has a relaxing shower.
The outdoor areas offer awe-inspiring views of the mountains and surrounding terrain, surrounded by olive trees providing maximum privacy and enjoyment. Dive into the calming swimming pool on the vast grounds and get some sunshine while relaxing on the comfy sun-lounger. Gather your group for a fun-filled grilling session at the barbecue area housed by a cool stone building, a dining area completes the equation.
The beautifully crafted wooden door leads you into the bright hallway and open layout living and dining areas. The inviting living room with its plush sofas and impressive fireplace makes a great spot for relaxing. The dining room is warm and cosy with a beautiful dining table set up for 8 people. A set of French doors gives access to the delightful shaded terrace and alfresco dining area. A study room is also housed on this floor, which can double up as an additional bedroom as it comes complete with comfortable twin beds. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the necessary appliances and equipment to whip up delicious meals. Aside from that, it also provides quick access to the outdoor area.
Our local team of staff is always ready to offer assistance, whether it be private chef services, extra cleaning, tours arrangements, airport transfer, rentals or anything else you fancy. However, these extra services are chargeable separately.
A car is absolutely necessary to explore the alluring areas. The Montalconi wine estate with vineyards spanning a huge area is a dream come true for wine enthusiasts. Home to six vineyards plots each exuding a charm of its own. There is even a three storey cellar complex on-site.
Val d’Orcia is famous worldwide for its unrivalled red wine. The town, untouched since the 16th century is full of history filled with ancient woods, rolling hills and fields with colourful flowers between olive groves.
The nearest village, Montalcino, is approximately 12km distance where you’d find many historical attractions, shops and eateries. If you prefer a more vibrant city then head on to Siena, 45km away.
