The Impossible Beach House - this creative and environment friendly 3-bedroom villa with a strange name is truly an impossible task made possible! It is a nature villa situated in an edge of a cliff where you have to take a narrow sand laden path to reach. This is nature at it is more uninterrupted level. All the bedrooms and the living quarters of this villa are made of wood or naturally sourced materials. Located away from the busy bustle of overly touristic areas of Uluwatu, Bali, The Impossible Beach House is secluded, tranquil and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to forget all the worldly responsibilities and have some true peace and quiet overlooking the ocean, this is the ideal stay for you.
The Impossible Beach House has 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 7 people. The bedrooms are rather rustic, with walls of rattan and wooden floors. The largest bed room consists of a Queen size bed and also a Single bed, with a bathroom attached. The furnishings are very minimal, and all naturally and locally sourced. The concept of this villa is to live as close to the wilderness as possible, which means that there is a chance that you will not have power at night. Every bedroom is provided with a flashlight for this reason.
The Impossible Beach House is situated on a cliff near the beautiful Bingin Beach. There is no artificially made swimming pool in this villa. You can simply climb down to the beach bellow and enjoy as much as swimming you want in the biggest natural swimming pool in the world - the ocean! It is ideal for surfing during the season as well. There is a wooden gazebo outside of the villa where you can get the best view of the ocean at any time of the day.
The villa is designed to go with the natural rock formations on the cliff, making that all the living areas and the sleeping quarters feature either natural stone or rattan walls. Wherever you decide to wander around within the villa, you will be able to catch a glimpse of the stunning scenery of the ocean below you. There is a large living area with many colorful cushions strewn on the floor surrounding a low table where you can relax, read a book or simply enjoy the view outside. The dining area is also a long low table with benches where you can enjoy a simple meal prepared in the minimalistic kitchen of the villa. It is all about going back your roots and embracing your own soul away from the modern distractions.
The staff is also minimal in this villa, just like its completely natural and minimal design. Your housekeeping and maintenance of the villa will be well taken care of, and you will be provided with 24-hour security as well.
This villa is rather secluded from the rest of Uluwatu, since the part of the concept behind this property is to help you fully disconnect from the outside world. You will need to walk down a steep path in order to reach the villa as well. Just below the villa, however, is the stunning Bingin Beach. When you want to practice some guided yoga during your stay, you can visit The Temple Lodge which is nearby.
