Villa Markisa Ungasan is a vacation complex which consists of three pavilions – all epitomizing contemporary tropical elegance. Interiors are appointed with furnishings and fixtures highlighting various design influences – ornate Balinese finely finished Oriental, well-crafted woven wood, splendidly stylish, as well as modern luxurious. Amenities are discriminatingly five star – for all-out guest delight and enjoyment. Nestled on top of a cliff rising from Pandawa Beach, Villa Markisa Ungasan offers you a well-spent, upland respite with a truly classy and upscale setting.
The villa has five air-conditioned bedrooms. Four guest rooms are in the villa’s two-unit, two-level guest pavilion. In each unit are two bedrooms – one on the ground level, and the other on the upper level. These bedrooms have either king-sized beds or twin beds, as well as dedicated bathrooms with free-standing bathtubs and monsoon rain showers. Each unit also has both living and dining areas which are actually interconnected. Second-floor bedrooms open out to balconies with picturesque sea views. Ground-level bedrooms have direct access to the swimming pools. The master bedroom is in a separate pavilion at the scenic ledge of the property. The master bedroom also has its very own living and dining areas, as well as a superbly furnished rooftop view deck with picturesque sea vistas. This bedroom has a king-sized bed, as well as a dedicated bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and a monsoon rain shower. The master bedroom has direct access to a swimming pool and to a private garden out front.
There are two swimming pools – with a length of nine meters each – at the villa’s two-level guest pavilion, and one swimming pool – six meters long – at the villa’s master pavilion. Immerse yourself in their mesmerizing, glassy waters for some mindless wading. Or, push everyone in for some splashy fun and games. Out of the water, you can lounge on woven wood pool beds, or on cushioned, round, woven wood day beds on poolside wooden decks.
At the villa’s semi-open, spacious, well ventilated and high-ceilinged common pavilion is the living area with two stylish, woven wood sitting layouts. Here, you can all assemble for moments of family or friendly bonding. There are two common dining areas. One is an alfresco dining area – with a glass-topped table good for six – flanked by the two sitting layouts of the common pavilion. The other alfresco dining area – with its chic dinner table good for 10 – is at the contemporized bale on the scenic ledge of the property. Whichever you prefer to dine at, you can all have your fill of authentic local cuisine – as well as Western staples – which you can order from the Pandawa Cliff Estate’s restaurant. As a guest of the villa, you have free access to the estate’s tennis and squash courts, as well as to the estate’s gym and spa.
Tasked to render the daily services of the villa is a staff led by two managers backed by a pool attendant, a gardener, a driver, a spa therapist as well as by housekeepers and security personnel. Free use of an estate shuttle – except the cost of gasoline – is an inclusion of your booking. Bike and scooter rentals are available.
