Welcome home to Villa Sandat, a boutique holiday retreat perfect for families or small groups of friends, hidden in the rice fields of Umalas close to the buzzing tourist destinations Seminyak and Canggu. The villa is marked by an exclusive interior design, featuring a Japanese theme with stylish compositions of red and black elements. Two bedrooms, an expansive living, and dining area, as well as a private swimming pool in a lush tropical garden setting, provide ample space for your Bali getaway. The property is part of the eight-villa complex of Villa M Bali Umalas, an estate that offers the best of two worlds - luxury facilities and genuine Balinese hospitality.
Villa Sandat houses two air-conditioned bedrooms, accommodating up to four guests. Both bedrooms are situated on the top floor, offering stunning views of the rice fields surrounding the property and majestic Mount Agung. Both bedrooms are fitted with a comfortable king-size double bed, a dressing area to store your belongings, a flat-screen TV, and a small daybed. The stylish bedrooms feature warm parquet flooring and elegant furniture. The most striking feature of the bedrooms is the chic color concept displaying a mix of black and white with selected flashy red décor, giving the room a sophisticated look.
Large sliding glass doors open up to a balcony, overlooking the verdant nature surrounding the property. The en-suite bathrooms strike in elegance and offer a generous shower area, washbasins and a stone-carved bathtub that sits right in front of a window. The bathrooms match the interior of the bedrooms and have fashionable patterned floor tiles and a ceiling window that lets you gaze into the sky while brushing your teeth.
The garden of Villa Sandat is an oasis of well-being. Splash around in the 32-square meter swimming pool to cool down from the tropical heat or relax on one of the sun loungers that are situated on the wooden deck at the head of the pool. A small strip of grass connects the pool with the living area and palm trees, colorful flowers and exotic green leafy plants frame the swimming pool. Relish the serene setting of the garden and relax your mind, body and soul.
The living area picks up the Japanese style of the bedrooms, with a brick wall, as well as red and dark wooden furniture dominating the room. You will find an antique sofa with matching chairs and a coffee table facing a large flat-screen TV, inviting you and your loved ones for a cozy movie night. Across from the living area, the dining space is set with an elegant wooden dining table, seating up four guests. A small kitchenette is installed just behind the dining area, offering sufficient space to prepare snacks and store your drinks in the refrigerator.
Another smaller table with two matching chairs can be found in the living area. It sits right in front of the glass sliding doors that open up to the garden and swimming pool and offer the perfect space, to enjoy a coffee or tea while savoring the scenery of the garden. The living area is air-conditioned, however, you may choose to open the doors to the garden and switch on the ceiling fans instead to have a tropical breeze circulate through the room.
It is not hard to settle in with this wonderful team of butlers and guest assistants taking care of all your needs. The attentive team of Villa M Bali Umalas makes sure you are having a comfortable stay and will happily assist you with planning excursions, arranging private drivers, an in-house massage or even a private BBQ cookout party at the villa. A terrific breakfast is included in your stay and a team of housekeepers, gardeners and pool attendants will maintain the villa. All day dining is available in the Kubera Lounge of the estate with stunning views over the vast rice fields.
