Villa Mandalay Dua is a serene oasis in tranquility, with endless paddy views, providing an opportunity to relax and enjoy the Balinese countryside. This enchanting four-bedroom villa, perfect for eight people, is set into a two-villa complex in Seseh-Tanah Lot on Bali's south-west coast, giving seclusion and generous amenities.
The villa is part of an impressive estate of Mandalay Villas, an ideal setting for a family reunion or group gathering, as well as a perfect wedding site. Here, sweeping lawns are bordered by lush tropical plants, creating a beautiful backdrop. Two luxurious swimming pools, a fun ‘pitch and putt' golf course, sauna, several pavilions, and a pleasant and professional service team, including a personal chef who is master of a wide suggestion menu, are just a few of the highlights.
A staircase leads to the master bedroom, which is located above the living and dining rooms. The king-size bed is positioned to face the verdant rice fields outside the compound, and the room has wood floors. The accommodation has a private terrace in front with outstanding views of Uluwatu Cliff, and we can even see Batur Mountain if we open the bedhead window. There is stone flooring in the ensuite bathroom, as well as a separate shower cubicle.
Two of the guest bedrooms, designed as identical replicas, are housed under a separate pavilion near the pool. In front, the two rooms share a communal terrace with views of the lawn and pool. The rooms are warm and inviting, with king-size mattresses and wooden furniture, and ensuite bathrooms with all the necessities. With vibrant paintings on the walls and locally produced rugs on the floor, there is a lot of attention to detail here.
Because it is close to the entrance, the fourth bedroom has optimum privacy and easy escape from the property without disturbing the others. The huge room has a partition within it that allows the bed to be positioned for optimal views and looks out onto its own green lawn. There is an ensuite bathroom in the room, as well as lots of storage.
Ceiling fans add to the comfort of all four bedrooms, which are all air conditioned. Crisp white linens cover the king-size mattresses, and flat-screen TVs with DVD players are provided. Each room features a bathroom with grey andesite stone tiles.
The air-conditioned living area is transformed into an open-sided pavilion with cushioned chairs and enormous potted plants when the glass doors slide open. This is the ideal spot for a cup of tea in the evening or catching up on life with the loved ones. Front lawns are well-kept, with a long, rectangular 16-metre swimming pool on one side and comfortable sun loungers lining the other. A lengthy veranda shared by both rooms in the guest bedroom pavilion is excellent for some quiet time. The pool comes to a conclusion at a thatched balé, which is a wonderful site for open-air massages.
With beautiful, unfinished stone floors and sliding glass doors that lead to the poolside veranda, the open-plan living area dominates the main pavilion. A giant flat screen, mounted television is in front of bench-style cushioned sofas grouped around a rug and coffee table. A huge wooden dining table adjoins the living room, offering a 10-person dining area. A wide breakfast island and bar stools surround the modern, fully equipped kitchen, which takes up the right extreme corner of the room. Natural elements such as stone, wood, and straw have been used to create the area, which is brightened by the amount of natural light provided by the sliding doors.
Villa Mandalay Dua is run by a courteous crew that will make sure that your every need is met. Massage in the thatched balé beside the pool? Cocktails on the patio? A delicious meal tailored to your preferences? Nothing is too difficult for the helpful employees at this estate.
Mandalay Villas have an incomparable rural environment yet are only a short drive away from Canggu, Bali's hottest and hippest hangout.
