It sits serenely within the tranquil Pianello del Lario village and exudes a most welcoming vibe from its solid, bespoke interiors of classical decor right to the lovely outdoors. This 8-bedroom villa for 14 guests is spread over 2 storeys and surrounded by a well-manicured, flat and single-level garden, from which guests can have private access to a little beach. As part of the Marchesi di Rozzano family brand of villas, guests can expect nothing less than the most sustainable form of restoration and refurbishment works throughout the architecture. Another highlight of this villa is the elegant swimming pool that can be directly accessed from the house without the need for guests to step outside at all. Did we also mention that this pool has a sliding roof and can be illuminated at night for romantic night dips?
Being on the west bank of Upper Lake Como, guests have places aplenty to explore on foot thanks to the lake’s close proximity to key attractions. Among them are ancient churches, luxurious Baroque palaces, 15th and 16th-century fine frescoes, and also numerous museums. The closest museum from Villa Meridiana is Museo Barca Lariana. It is Vintage boat Museum and opens from Friday to Sunday.
