Villa Ginni is a lovely restored farmhouse nestled within the peaceful Lugiania to the north and fantastic views of the Apuan mountains to the south smack between Tuscany and Liguria. The former Tuscan farmhouse has been restored with modern facilities while retaining its original charm. It is a pleasantly peaceful location with many amenities within a short drive, providing the best of both worlds. Tuscany is one of the best-known regions in Italy for holidaying with its rolling hills, historical heritage and delectable cuisine. Here one can enjoy the peace, tranquility and bliss of seclusion. Simply the perfect option for medium-sized families or a group of friends as this split level home can comfortably accommodate six guests.
This lovely retreat consists of three luxurious bedrooms with heritage-style shutters that open out to allow natural light in. There is a beautiful bedroom with traditional stone walls and an ultra comfortable super king-size bed on the lower ground floor. The two other bedrooms are the ground floor and first floor are air-conditioned, encouraging blissful sleep and decorated with calming natural tones with double or twin beds and vintage-inspired furniture. One of the rooms has direct access to the outdoor area through a large door. In total, this villa housed 3 beautifully fitted bathrooms, one on the ground floor and a further 2 on the first floor. All 3 bathrooms have high quality fixtures, toiletries and vanities.
For those who prefer alfresco dining, there is a traditional barbeque in the vast outdoor space where you can dine on the covered terrace overlooking the gorgeous pool and stunning countryside views. Start the day with a refreshing dip in the turquoise pool while taking in the view as you swim or soak up the sun on the comfy sun lounger by the pool.
The spacious living room with exposed stone walls that is on the ground floor has extra plush sofas, wood-burning stove that will keep you warm and cozy on cold days, a satellite Smart TV, PlayStation 4 for an enjoyable night time activity with the family and a book exchange where you can choose something to read. Whether you are planning to prepare the meals yourself or hire a chef, you will find a well-equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, kettle and coffee machine that is stocked with everything needed to make scrumptious meals for the family right beyond the living room.
Our team of efficient and well-trained staff handle all the needs of the guests during their stay here from airport transfers, local day-trips or tours to babysitting/childcare services and many more, at a little extra cost. For those who are driving, there are enough parking spaces within the villa where cars can be parked securedly.
The natural landscape and superb hiking trails in the area are ideal for outdoor activities and children would find it suitable for cycling and adventuring into the fresh green hills.The surrounding area offers many places for sightseeing like Golfo dei Poeti, the town of La Spezia which was a haven for artists and writers including DH Lawrence Mary Shelley and Byron and a great base for exploring the extraordinary Cinque Terre with its beautiful houses and charming atmosphere. Lunigiana is famous for its steele monolith statues, a relic from the Apuani people of the Middle ages and lots of castles, fortresses and archaeological sites around the area to explore. There are also plenty of delicious Tuscan and Ligurian fare on offer, like fresh pesto, focaccia bread, panigacci and not forgetting fabulous gelato. This is one destination that has a little bit of everything for everyone.
