At Pukaki Place is a cozy holiday home near to the centre of town in Twizel (somewhere in between Queenstown and Christchurch) and it is the perfect stay for families on a journey to explore New Zealand’s South Island. This charming 4-bedroom bungalow makes a great base from where you can go wander around in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, the Mackenzie Basin and upper Waitaki Valley. Snow-capped mountains, lakes, rivers, biking trails, hiking routes, this place is stunning all year round and the lists of things to see and do are endless. At Pakaki Place accommodates up to 11 guests - you can bring a large group!
At Pakaki Place is a bungalow with 4 bedrooms to accommodate one large family, 2 small befriended families or a group of friends. The bungalow sleeps up to 11 guests. There are 2 bedrooms with queen-size double beds, there is 1 bedroom with a single bed and bunks and there is another bedroom with bunk beds. Bathrooms are clean and they feature washbasins and hot water showers. Towels and bed linen are provided.
The indoor area flows out to the outdoor terrace where you can sit with a cup of coffee and breath in the fresh air. Kids can run around in the garden, play football or whatever. You can also organize a BBQ party in your private garden. A gas bottle for the BBQ costs 5 dollars.
The cozy bungalow has a private living space with a kitchen. There are comfortable sofas to relax on, reading a book or watching TV. There is a dining table to gather with the family for breakfast or dinner and there is a fully equipped open kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and more.
Your personal host is Gina who will be there to welcome you upon arrival to make you feel safe and comfortable. Wifi is available throughout the bungalow.
