Fully furnished with all the comforts of a winter ski-lodge type accommodation, you can expect nothing short of a comfortable and communal experience as you explore the local skiing scene. Plenty of outdoor facilities are available within the vicinity, mostly catering to skiing during the winter and outdoor activities, from skiing schools and equipment rentals for those new to the slopes and ski storage facilities for the regulars who venture here often.
Each Home Port unit comes equipped with three bedrooms in a variety of sleeping arrangements of bunk beds, single or double beds and futons. Chalet one offers three bedrooms with two, eight or four bunk beds with the addition of a large double bed in the room with two bunk beds. Chalet two, however, has one bedroom with four futon beds, another with two single beds and two bunk beds and one more room with eight bunk beds.
These arrangements make way for a great traveling crowd and will allow for those cozy winter nights where you can spend the long night away in the company of friends or family in the same room with you.
All bedrooms come fully equipped with wardrobe space for extended stays and also electric heaters to keep you warm in winter and autumn nights.
Home Port provides free private parking spaces upon request for those who are traveling with their own automobiles. Once outside, you will be mesmerized by the, panoramic view with Mt Yotei as the backdrop.
Both Home Port units come with fully equipped shared kitchens where you can enjoy communal cooking experiences such as those in skiing resorts where you can cook and dine-in together. There is also a communal living space where you can lounge in after a long day’s adventure. Similarly, a laundry space is also provided for those who need to have some cleaning done to their clothing after a day on the slopes skiing or hiking. All indoor spaces are heated with electric heaters to ensure comfort and ease during your stay. Wired internet is also provided free of charge for those who need to stay connected during vacations.
Home Port offers added services to enhance your stay. Themed dinner nights can be arranged with an extra charge for those who want to avoid the hassle purchasing and cooking for themselves. Outdoor activities such as hiking the local trails, canoeing and even fishing can also be booked with a service charge as you will need the help of local guides to get to the best spots in the local hillsides.
Golfers would also be glad to know that bookings can be made through Home Port services for the local Golf Course during summer and springtime. For traveling families, babysitting services are also available for those who would like to have their children cared for while that have their getaway.
Home Port centers itself in the midst of all the outdoor action available to travelers who visit theNiseko region. With the Hirafu station within walking distance of Home Port, you will have no problem getting immediate access to your stay here. For those who venture here to experience skiing the Niseko slopes, you will be glad to know that the Niseko Annupuri Kokusai Ski Area is within public transport distance and will have all outdoor services and equipment you need for your day out on the slopes. Niseko Village is 3 km from Home Port while Niseko Hanazono Resort is 9km away.
There are plenty of food options within walking distance of Home Port such as the Mandriano Pizza and Dairy Farm for those whose looking for a strong hearty meal at the end of a long hard skiing session. Traditional Japanese dining is also available such as Guzu Guzu and Niseko Ramen which is within walking distance from Home Port. You can also enjoy some local Cheese at Niseko Cheese if you’re up for something a little out of the ordinary from your regular meals.
