Spanning 150m2, Villa Butxequi is a cozy modern holiday villa located in a quiet neighbourhood in Muro, a small agricultural town. The spacious single storey home is the perfect choice for those looking at a relaxing no fuss getaway in a rural setting. The fully airconditioned home features 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining area, terrace,private pool, BBQ area, fireplace, fenced garden, children’s playground amongst others.
Bright and airy, all 3 bedrooms are elegantly designed and luxuriously furnished with a modern minimalist twist. All 3 bedrooms are spacious. As you walk into the bedrooms, you will feel a sense of calmness from the soothing colours of the wall. One of the bedrooms with its plush queen bed sets the mood for a good night’s sleep. The large work desk and comfortable ergonomic chair is perfect for those who need to get some work done. A large glass door leads to a balcony offering verdant views and some fresh air. Another room comes with 2 single beds and is spacious enough for even a baby cot, chest of drawers and a huge table. A large floor to ceiling glass sliding door also opens to the terrace overlooking the lush spaces. All occupants share 2 bathrooms that are nicely fitted with high-quality materials. Of the 2 bathrooms, one of them has a bathtub and separate shower.
Start your morning with a swim in the calm private pool while enjoying the panoramic mountain view. Kids can have fun at theplayground and then the entire family can gather for a lazy brunch al-fresco style in the semi-open terrace while enjoying the morning sun and the verdant views. Soak in the sunshine during tea-time in the garden with garden furniture. After a long day out, nothing beats a hearty BBQ meal at the vast terrace.
The house’s open-layout plan offers generous spaces. A Grand Piano greets you as you enter the premises. Hurdle together on colder evenings in the spacious living room on its plush sofa and keep warm with the roaring fireplace while enjoying a movie or two with the entertainment system provided. For those who enjoy cooking, the beautiful vast kitchen is a joy. A huge 2 panel glass door separates the kitchen from the main spaces, providing the much needed privacy when cooking. The semi-professional kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances such as large 2-door fridge, built in oven and microwave, coffee maker, utensils cutleries, dishwasher and many more for ease of meal preparations. An island table houses the induction stove and hood makes a great spot for quick meals straight from the stove! The equally spacious dining area features a 6 seater dining table where you can enjoy meals overlooking the playground while kids are at play through a huge floor to ceiling two-panel door. Both the living and dining areas get access to the terrace via a huge glass sliding door placed in between both areas.
Although this is a self-catering accommodation, our team of staff will always be available should you need help during your stay. Our friendly housekeepers keep the house clean and change your linens once a week. A private open-parking is also provided on site. Depending on season, baby crib/baby cot is available. Our staff will gladly help with other on-demand services such as grocery shopping, dining booking, tour arrangements and more. These on-demand services come with separate charges.
The charming villa is surrounded by a handful of conveniences. A short walk away (1km) takes you to the local shops where you can shop for essentials. Less than 2km away is the MURO town centre lined with shops, eateries and attraction. Get acquainted with the locals at the weekly market if you happen to visit Muro on Sunday. Muro is full of festivities the whole year round, with many festivals taking place around Easter, San Juan in June, Autumn Festival in November while in the summer months more festivities take place on Playa de Muro, the closest beach from Muro. Other notable attractions worthy to visit are the Museu Etnologic de Mallorca which is housed in a former mansion gives a glimpse into Mallorca’s past. If you are into gothic architecture then the Catalan-Gothic Church of Sant Joan Baptista which was rebuilt in 16th century and another church, the Convent of Santa Anna which used to host bull and bulldogs fights, was built out of white stone from its own quarry in 1910. The closest beach is the famous Playa de Muro which is approximately 15 kms from the villa. The nearest train station is 6 km away while Palma airport is roughly 50km drive.
