Found in Siem Reap, home to Cambodia’s famous ancient ruins of Angkor Wat, Villa Asaliah is a pleasant, modern home as part of a residential area surrounded by vast acres of green land. Tropical plantations and vast skies make for the backdrop against which Villa Asaliah and its six bedrooms reside. Complete with a children’s play area, private swimming pool and luscious gardens, the villa is perfectly suited for a family-friendly holiday. Although you may be removed from the busy streets of the town centre, it is only a short drive from the villa. You can easily explore the night markets, Artisans d’Angkor and ancient temples in Cambodia.
The villa has six bedrooms including a luxurious master suite that are designed to extend five-star amenities and services to guests. The master suite and four other bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds while the sixth bedroom has single beds which is ideal for kids. The five guest bedrooms are named after colours such as Blue Room, Orange Room, Green Room, Yellow Room and Brown Room. Each colour corresponds to the interiors so you can choose as per your liking. All double-bedded rooms can be furnished with an additional single bed on request.
The bedrooms are air-conditioned and come with ensuite bathrooms as well. There are 48-inch flat-screen TVs in the guest rooms while the master suite is equipped with a massive 65-inch TV for a home theatre experience.
The swimming pool at Villa Asaliah is a lavish affair as it fit for Olympic-level skills so you can swim laps each morning and start off your day on a healthy note. The pool deck houses several sun chairs and there is a pergola roof overhead to keep you from direct sunlight. The luscious tropical plants and the well-landscaped gardens make for a charming and refreshing ambiance which will have you spending hours by the pool. There are dining tables on the pool deck as well, so you are all set for a pool party to end all parties.
Villa Asaliah features an open-side living area located right by the pool, the décor is modern with plenty of traditional accents including figurines, hand-carved wall features depicting notable historical scenes and myths, indoor plants and deep, red shades or wooden interiors for a luxe and opulent ambiance. The living area is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs so everyone can gather around for a hearty evening full of laughter and chit-chat.
The entire space is designed with antique objects and furniture including a stunning and unique cabinet with wholly carved exterior, bronze sculptures of Lord Ganesha and striking artwork. You have a flat-screen TV with internet access so you can enjoy streaming services like Netflix. A formal dining area comes with a fully-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare delicious meals together and then take it to the table for a sit-down dinner with loved ones. For your benefit only, the property also has a wine cellar for evening drinks.
Villa Asaliah takes care to provide its guests with an experience you are unlikely to forget anytime soon. The wine cellar features a Khmer-style room where you can enjoy a glass or two. There is a changing room by the pool, a massage room and a gymnasium for a quick workout. The home cinema features a 78-inch TV and you have other amenities as well.
Staff looks after security and maintenance of the villa besides making your itinerary for you as well. They can book tours and excursions, you can watch a traditional Apsara show right on the property and even enjoy a delicious BBQ. Some services may be charged additionally.
Siem Reap is exclusively known for its historical connotations and traditional architecture. Besides the city centre, the town is home to Angkor Wat, majestic ruins with stone-carvings and a wealth of knowledge within its ancient walls. There are temples of equal grandeur in the vicinity that are excellent for exploration.
