Resting atop a hill amidst the jungle and overlooking a ravine in Ubud is Villa Alamanda-- the embodiment of peace and tranquility. Its four king sized bedrooms , infinity pool, and poolside bale will ensure you have the perfect vacation that is both exciting and calming all at once.
Villa Alamanda has a total of four bedrooms with traditional alang-alang high vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and well-polished wooden floors. The garden suite consists of a king sized bed and a private sun-deck, with an attached marble bathroom consisting of a shower and bathtub. In a slightly separate pavilion , the villa has two guest bedrooms and a master bedrooms located adjacent to each other. The two guest bedrooms (named Red Room and Cinnamon owing to their color schemes) are designed similarly and are furnished with king sized beds. The guest bedrooms have ensuite marble bathrooms which are garden walled and open into a living terrace furnished with daybeds. Next to the guest bedrooms is the master bedroom consisting of sliding glass doors that open into an outdoor terrace, a king sized bed, polished floor, and high-vaulted alang-alang roof . It has an ensuite private marble bathroom with a bathtub and shower overlooking the lawn and infinity pool to ensure you feel cool even in the tropical weather of Ubud.

The infinity pool measures 9mx13m and has a depth variation of 1.1m to 1.8m . The pool, coupled with the surrounding greenery and fragrant gardens provides the perfect recluse from the heat to help you relax and unwind. There are sun loungers placed by the poolside along with pool umbrellas for when you would want to take a break from swimming and enjoy a cool tropical drink. The pool terrace has a table for casual outdoor dining as well
The poolside bale, with its alang-alang high ceiling and comfortable sofas, is the perfect spot to curl up with a book while you are shielded from the overpowering Sun during the day and a superb setting to spend fun-filled evenings with friends and family over a few drinks.
The main living area at Villa Alamanda is intricately styled with traditional Balinese decor and minimalism in unison. It is an open-sided area shaped as the letter T with a high roof and polished floor, furnished with day-beds and ceiling fans.
Adjacent to the garden suite is a media room equipped with a DVD player, a flat screen television with satellite TV, toys and games , and comfortable seating arrangements to ensure a wholesome digital entertainment experience.
The garden enclosed dining area has a seating capacity for eight people and is adjacent to a fully equipped kitchen with an in-house chef to help you enjoy scrumptious meals without any hassle.
Villa Alamanda is equipped with an active staff comprising of guest assistance (part-time) to help you acclimatize to the villa, an in-house chef and butlers , housekeeping staff, security guards, and workers for maintaining the pool and garden. Other services like free WiFi and landline for local calls are also available. Laundry services, airport shuttle, and a car to help you drive around town are available upon request. The food menu consists of Asian, Western, Kids’ food, and vegetarian options; requests for special diets can be accommodated as well. Additional facilities include safes in each bedroom.
The villa is situated in a woodcarvers’ village, Tengkulak, approximately five kilometers from Ubud . While the village offers plenty of cultural experiences to immerse yourself in, including traditional handicrafts and dances , you can even visit the various Hindu temples and shrines located in and around the village, each having a significance of its own. Other touristy options include rice fields at Tegallalang (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) , Goa Gajah (the Elephant Caves) , the Bali Marine and Safari Park, Kacek dance performances, and the Tirta Girtu Water Temple located in Tampak Siring. When visiting the city area, the traditional jewellery, textiles, handicrafts, and antiques make for great souvenirs, plus the local delicacies available at various restaurants are a must-try to have the quintessential Balinese experience.
