The villa is set in a hillside close to the towns of Trevi and Spoleto, less than ½ a kilometer from shops and restaurants in one of the many villages dotted throughout the countryside. Wineries and olive groves abound so exploring this lovely area is fun!
With 8 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and bathrooms, accommodating comfortably 18 guests [two guests on a sofa bed], the property is situated in the perfect location for both a relaxing retreat and exploring the surrounding areas.
The villa overlooks the stunning rolling Umbrian hillsand delightful gardens of the estate.
Villa Romeo boasts eight comfortable and elegant bedrooms. The bedrooms complete with air conditioning and heating, except for the ground floor bedroom which is naturally cooled and are each equipped with large beds which can be converted to singles. The simple but lovely bedrooms are fully equipped with linens and duvets and are decorated with antiques and lovely artwork. One of the bedrooms and the double sofa bed are in the separate apartment with bathroom and garden, perfect for those wanting some privacy. The other rooms are set over the two levels of the main building.
Villa Romeo has 8 bathrooms; one with a bathtub and all featuring large showers, bidets and of course fluffy towels.
Villa Romeo is a wonderful venue for special dinners, weddings or events with outbuildings perfect for wonderful events.
The villa has access to the terrace area conveniently located close to the living areas, including the kitchen, making preparing and serving meals outdoors a simple pleasure. The covered patio boasts a barbeque, dining table and seating areas and enjoys views out across the lovely gardens and the picturesque rolling hills of Umbria.
The lovely pool is last but certainly not least; a very large pool expanding 13m x 15m with sun terrace and ample sun loungers for those wishing to soak up some rays. The villa has a private on-site parking for guests convenience.
The stylish lounge areas of Villa Romeo are sun drenched, bright and comfortable. With ample plush seating, a large dining space, and two fireplaces guests are sure to feel instantly at home. The lounge area boasts Wifi, dvd and satellite TV for guests enjoyment.
Conveniently located adjacent to the lounge area is the kitchen, equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and 2nd fridge, coffee maker, two sinks, toaster and utensils; all guests could possibly need to prepare gourmet meals for a night in or a beautiful meal overlooking the stunning backdrop of the hillside.

Prior to check in the villa fully disinfected and thoroughly clean for guests enjoyment. Children are catered for with cots etc provided on request and many services are available through the villa. Massages, transport, tours and pre arrival shopping may all be requested through at time of booking.
The villa is conveniently situated a short walk from charming local villages and very central for guests wanting to explore the lovely villages and towns in this spectacular part of Italy.
Umbria is the green heart of Italy, so wandering through magical forests, tree lined lanes and spectacular countryside is a treat. There are walking and cycling tracks aplenty or perhaps guests would like to walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims along the Via Francigena or ride on horseback through the wonderful pine forests and olive groves.
For day trips the town of Assisi is a 33km trip from the comfort of your villa or Perugia 44kms away. Assisi is the home of the St Francis basilica, three spectacular churches with ancient frescos and artifacts. The town is a delight with artisan stores selling balsamic vinegar, olive oils and lovely ceramics. There are many local restaurants to enjoy the freshest produce and lively bars.
Perugia is another lovely spot to visit with its famous jazz festival, piazza with a palace, ancient churches and fountains, museums and lovely cobbled lanes with shopping galore.
