Villa Siriwimal is a modern private pool villa located in Weligama, just 10 minutes from the beach. Perfectly affordable and not lacking the luxury you are craving for on holiday, this 3-bedroom holiday rental is completely private and it boasts a huge tropical garden with coconut, banana and mango trees. The front of the house is a traditional colonial Dutch structure but the villa has been renovated completely and the interior design is ruled by cool pop art and modern amenities.
Villa Siriwimal has 3 bedrooms. The master suite is located on the first floor adjoined to a balcony with lovely views of the pool. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed. The en-suite bathroom is open-air for a relaxing hot shower surrounded by nature. Pure bliss! The other 2 bedrooms are located at the pool level, one furnished with a king and the other one with twins. The rooms share 1 open-air bathroom together, ideal for families with kids.
The garden of Villa Siriwimal is very private and tropical, surrounded by lush local greenery. There is a big yard where kids are free to run around, kick a ball and play while parents can lounge by the poolside or snooze in the hammock shaded by trees. The pool is 11 meters long and 3 meters wide, flanked by a stone sundeck with bean bags and chairs. Around the corner, there is an alfresco dining table for the lovers of the tropical lifestyle. The garden also features Jeu de Boules playing area and you can lounge up on the rooftop, working on your tan.
The interior design is unique and quirky, blending colonial Sri Lankan charm with a modern tropical chic/pop art look. There are retro yellow chairs to relax on and there is a black sofa. The kitchen is open-plan, equipped with everything you need. Upstairs, there is more living space to enjoy. The black leather sofa is a great spot to sit back and listen to a vinyl record or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. Need to do some work, combining leisure and business? Villa Siriwimal also features a writing desk with an Apple iMac. No matter where you sit, you’ll get struck by the gorgeous views of the surroundings!
The owner and the staff are available around the clock to make your stay most pleasurable. The villa offers daily housekeeping (or according to your personal wishes) and in-house laundry. There are 2 scooters available for rent and the staff is also glad to arrange a car and driver. Just ask anything! Guests get a discount of 10% at some great nearby restaurants and shops including Bangkok Kitchen and Kwaii.
The villa is located in Weligama, just 2,4 km from the beach where you can go surfing, swimming, whale watching and more. Surrounded by nature, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful while at the beach, there are many restaurants, cafes, and shops to explore. You can also visit Mirissa - one of the most famous beach towns in Sri Lanka and go explore the historic city of Galle. The international airport of Sri Lanka in the city of Colombo is 218 km away.
