Stayed at Villa Suriyawatta with a group of friends From 08th September 2014 to 13th September 2014

An exceptional villa where the attention to detail is surpassed only by the views over the ocean. Salt water pool; surround sound in the garden; cuisine; service; bathrooms; sweet aroma of jasmine; terraced lawns; beach….in all a peaceful fun family holiday. Exactly what we needed! Without question this is one of the best villas.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Suriyawatta. From the decor, to the fantastic location with front beach access, to the delicious food prepared by Darminda, everything was just perfect. Kudos to the staff who was always extremely attentive, Asanka is a star. We will definitely recommend this villa to our friends, and will hopefully come back.

Take a look inside Villa Suriyawatta

Villa Suriyawatta, perched on a slope of lush green Weligama, right above the beach is a home away from home. This spacious 5 bedroom stay is designed for a perfect family holiday! The soothing aura generated by the white walls and simple yet classic timber wood furnishings offers utmost relaxation. The rooms are attached in 3 pavilion style offering a rustic country-side feel. The modern art décor contrasting the pastoral ambience slip in as sense of luxury as well.

Situated in Sri Lanka’s lovely Weligama, villa Suriyawatta is a befitting holiday abode with family and friends. A royal retreat from the monotonous life! Sitting quietly at Aggrabodhi Vihara is the Leper King Statue. This very old temple established way back in the 3rd century BC is worth a visit. To experience sailing across the ocean, Taprobane Island is the right pick. Those early morning walk lovers can please themselves strolling through the greenery of the exiled French Count De Mauny.
