Today, it has a surface area of around 6000 m2 packed with eye-catching and carefully curated products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The owners sure like to have fun, and Christmas time is one of the <strong>highlights of the year<\/strong> and not to be missed. This is a spare-nothing type of season for Sluiz where the decorations are abundant, even though one would think it\u2019s hard to decorate this shop further.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the holidays the shop turns into a market full of <strong>quirky and unique <\/strong>souvenirs, clothing, home d\u00e9cor, and fascinating objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is also the season for <strong>special events <\/strong>so they may host workshops, art exhibitions and you can also take a break with a warm hot chocolate or mulled wine to get into the Christmas spirit. Their flying cows surrounding the shop will be one of the first things you see before entering what could be one of the most unforgettable Christmas activities you\u2019ve ever experienced.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Welcoming_the_New_Year_With_%E2%80%9C1_2_3%E2%80%9D_at_DC-10\"><\/span>3. Welcoming the New Year With \u201c1, 2, 3\u201d at DC-10<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most energizing ways to enter the new year is attending the much-anticipated<strong> Circoloco New Year\u2019s Day parties at <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ra.co\/clubs\/1273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>DC-10<\/strong>.<\/a> This bar-turned-nightclub was supposed to be named \u201cU2\u201d, but because of eventual copyright problems, it was named \u201cDC-10\u201d which was the biggest aircraft at the time. Why? Because the venue is located at the end of the airport runway with <strong>airplanes taking off right above the club<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their New Year\u2019s party always involves <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.villa-finder.com\/magazine\/ibiza-djs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">top DJs<\/a><\/strong> from around the globe creating an electrifying atmosphere with techno and electronic beats pulsating from one year to the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special tradition of the party is a <strong>unique countdown<\/strong> before midnight. Instead of saying \u201cthree, two, one\u201d like most parties, at DC-10 it\u2019s backwards\u2014or perhaps rather forwards. Right before midnight the partygoers chant the famous \u201cone, two, three\u201d which has become known as the 1\/123 tradition.
