While you are there, make sure to visit the Mercat de Santa Catalina. It’s the oldest food market in Palma bursting with colours and scents. There are two mountain ranges: Sierra de Tramuntana<\/strong> and Sierra de Llevant<\/strong> and there are more than 5 summits over 1,000m high. From easy trails to challenging tracks, Majorca offers unforgettable hiking experiences for everyone. You will stumble across picturesque mountain villages, remote coves, beaches and winding roads through pine forests. Bring hiking shoes, water and your camera!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why not go for a wonderful sunset catamaran cruise<\/strong>, sailing away on the sea just chasing the horizon? Majorca is the perfect destination for a catamaran cruise. You can go on a half-day trip that includes food and snorkelling gear or make it an afternoon cruise for dinner on board, sharing a bottle of wine to gorgeous sunset views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Must-visit: Palma Aquarium <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Palma Aquarium<\/strong> is a wonderous place tucked inside a natural cave. You can actually see what life looks like on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea. You will get a glimpse of what kind of different species inhabit the deep sea around Majorca. Strange sea creatures and beautiful live corals. It’s amazing. Not to forget the shark tank and the 3D aquadome cinema. Palma Aquarium is great fun to visit with kids<\/a>, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, you can ride a vintage train all the way from Palma <\/strong>to Soller in the mountains. It’s a charming century-old train with beautiful scenery along the way. Soller<\/a> is a picturesque town that should be on your list of places to visit in Majorca anyway so you might as well ride the cool vintage train from the island’s capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. See extraordinary Caves <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are multiple caves you can visit in Majorca. There are Arta Caves <\/strong>in Capdepera, Genova Caves<\/strong> in Palma, Drach Caves<\/strong> and Hams Caves <\/strong>in Manacor. Amazing rock formations, underground lakes and more. Prepare to get stunned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binissalem<\/strong> is a charming mountain town and it’s also the area where most of the local wines are produced. You may want to bring your canvas and some paint or at least your camera because the views around this sleepy town are truly inspirational. Once you got the view captured, go for a wine tasting and get all rosy and relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Visit the Miro Majorca Foundation <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Joan Miro<\/strong> is a famous painter who lived and worked in Majorca for many years. At Miro Majorca Foundation<\/a> you can see where he lived and admire his artwork. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this museum also boasts beautiful sea views and in the garden, you can see sculptures made by Miro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
