We love Majorca’s beaches and clubs but don’t forget about the amazing hiking trails!<\/strong> Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain, is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers<\/strong>. Rocky gorges and scenic valleys in the impressive Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, beautiful coves and paths along the coastline, you can just keep on hiking, you’ll never get enough of Majorca’s unparalleled beauty. <\/strong>These are some of the best hikes in Majorca:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soller <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the most popular areas in Majorca to go hiking with lush valleys and picturesque little towns around Soller in Sierre de Tramuntana. There is a 7,6 km loop trail <\/strong>you can take. It’s beautiful and not too difficult<\/strong> at all. The hike takes 2 to 3 hours, starting at Soller train station. Along the way, you will see pretty towns such as Fornaiux and Biniaraix<\/strong>. You can also opt to extend your hiking adventure and hike all the way to Deia<\/strong> (approximate 4 hours) or you can make your way to Cala Deia <\/strong>and take the boat back to Soller after a refreshing dive into the ocean. Wonderful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Val de Boquer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Val de Boquer is a beautiful and easy-going 5.1 hiking trail near the town of Pollenca<\/strong>. It takes around 1,5 hours to complete. The hike starts in Port de Pollenca, leading to Sierre de Tramuntana<\/strong>. It’s a great walk for bird watchers, walking through almond orchards and olive groves<\/strong>. at the end of the hike, you will get to Caval Bernat cliffs<\/strong> where you can enjoy magnificent ocean views and take incredible pics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torrent de Pareis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is not just any hike, it’s a gorge hike<\/strong> not meant for beginners! Torrent de Pareis is an intense 5-hour hiking trail that involves climbing rocks and passing through narrow gaps between rocks. <\/strong>Great for the true adventurous among us. Those who enjoy a good challenge, know no fear and have a good dose of willpower. There is no mobile phone reception in the gorge and the gorge is steep. Your efforts are rewarded at the endpoint at Sa Calobra<\/strong>, a dreamy sandy cove where you can swim and relax. This hike can only be done from May to September due to the chance of flooding in the winter months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camino de Mallorca <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the Camino de Santiago of Majorca starting at the Sanctuary of Lluc in Escorca and ending in Palma<\/strong>. Sanctuary Lluc is a monastery located in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range. You will see the unspoiled rural beauty of Majorca and spot lots of animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puig de Sant Mart\u00ed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This hike is found near the ancient walled<\/strong> town of Alcudia. What do you get? incredible sea views<\/strong> from the height of 266 m above sea level. Not just hikers are drawn to Puig de Sant Marti but also paragliders. Give it a try if you’re up for it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
