And no, you do not need to book an onsen hotel to experience it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hakuba has public hot springs that welcome day visitors, hotel onsens with drop-in bathing, seasonal outdoor baths and private options for travellers who would rather skip communal bathing altogether. Several sit close enough to Hakuba’s main ski and village areas to make an onsen stop an easy part of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
