A beautiful villa in typical Tuscan style architecture and design is Casa del Medico, overlooking breathtaking and picturesque views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Located here in Val di Chiana valley, this 5-bedroom property for 10 guests has not been previously rented out, until the owners finally realized that they could share the beauty of the place and the surroundings with more people. There is a main house and a smaller house also known as Annex, of which the 5 rooms in total are spread between the 2 buildings. Outdoors is a large private swimming pool with a perfectly maintained and well-manicured garden teeming with typical Tuscan plants such as olive and cypress trees.
With 5 rooms that span this property, 3 of them are located on the main house and configured with double bedding. Here, guests have 3 bathrooms at their disposal. The other 2 bedrooms are found on the Annex building which has just been recently restored, comprising 2 single beds in each and they share 1 bathroom.
Outside the residence is where guests will be happy to spend their time at the large and private swimming pool, which is also tucked in a quiet spot. Not to be missed is the perfectly-maintained and well-manicured garden where typical Tuscan plants like olive and cypress trees as well as roses can be visually savored. Close to the main house are 2 covered terraces, one of which boasts some of the most spectacular sunset views for guests to marvel while dining, wining and simply relaxing.
Inside the main house, guests will find themselves living amidst one of the finest and tastefully-decorated spaces, consisting of 2 salons, 1 dining room and a fully well-equipped kitchen area to boot. Over at the smaller house, other than the bedrooms, is a living room that also comes equipped with a full-fledged kitchen with all the amenities for guests’ cooking needs.
The staff at the property performs disinfection for hygiene and safety of all, and helps with changing the bed linens and towels every 7 days. There is complimentary Internet access and air-conditioning, while parking is open air and heating is also provided depending on the season.
Located in Val di Chiana valley, the nearest town center is Monte San Savino about 5km away with a variety of shops that can be found. About 30km out is the Terme di Rapolano thermal springs that is a delightful site to explore. From this base of the property, guests can also head to towns like Arezzo, Siena, Trasimeno Lake, Cortona, the Chianti, Montalcino that are all within short distance trips.
