Located within the immediate vicinity of Cortona town, this villa in fact dates back to the 18th century and has been lovingly restored to conjure an ambiance that has splendor written throughout its outdoors and indoors. Comprising 2 main buildings, the primary villa is separated into 2 apartments with their own respective entrances and furnished in traditional Tuscan style, while just in front of it is a cottage with the 3rd apartment that also carries its own Tuscan design with a private entrance. While surrounded by lush vegetation, as well as crops like fruit trees, olive trees and vineyards, all 14 guests here can be assured of the abundance in space and character that has come to define this villa for a truly mesmerising holiday.
Built with 7 bedrooms that sleep up to 14 guests, they are split between the main villa that consists of 2 apartments, and the cottage that entails the 3rd apartment unit. On the 1st floor of the villa, guests will find 3 double rooms and 2 twin rooms, as well as 4 bathrooms with shower spaces for guests. Over at the cottage which is also spread over 2 floors, guests have 1 double room on the ground floor and another twin bedroom at their disposal on the upper 1st floor.
The outdoor grounds of Villa San Pietro is one surrounded by the expanse of greenery, featuring an elegant park and lush vegetation that thrives with various crops of fruit trees, olive trees and also vineyards. The swimming pool measuring 12m X 6m that opens from May through September perfectly enhances the surroundings and is framed by sunbeds and deck chairs for guests to enjoy some napping, book reading or glasses of wine. There is also a barbeque pit with wood-burning oven for pizzas where guests can simply take advantage to cook their own and dine a la alfresco setting.
The indoors of the main villa are segregated into 2 different apartments that are furnished in classic Tuscan style of design and built. The bigger apartment unit is spread over 2 floors with the living area on the ground floor and features a stone staircase as its signature element. As for the cottage building that is essentially another apartment, it is also furnished in typical Tuscan style for thematic consistency and is also architectured over 2 storeys, with a wooden internal staircase that links both levels. All the apartments in either the main villa or cottage are fitted with their respective kitchens with the full fledge of amenities and fireplaces to boot.
Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi Internet connectivity throughout the villa and air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The service team also offers weekly change of linens, while the villa is also pet-friendly as guests get to bring along their pets for this vacation.
