A spectacular retreat in southern Italy, Villa Recitano can easily sleep groups of up to ten guests. Easily fusing contemporary amenities with old-school architecture, this villa opens towards the vibrant green countryside, offering proximity to both the beach and the lively towns. Villa Recitano also provides different facilities and services to enhance your holiday in Italy while making sure guests are as comfortable as possible during their stay.
Villa Recitano offers three bathrooms and five bedrooms, all air-conditioned. Fitted with double or twin beds, the bedrooms are all fitted with luxurious linens and oversized wardrobes that offer ample space for storing your belongings. Some of these bedrooms also come with en-suite bathrooms.
The sprawling grounds of Villa Recitano houses a 14m x 5m salt-water swimming pool with hydromassage jets to soothe your tired muscles after a full day of sightseeing. It should be noted that the pool is open from April to the end of October. After dinner, you may wish to take a stroll across the estate where you will find beautifully manicured lawns and fruit trees. Guests who would like to soak up the sun will undoubtedly relish in the many sun loungers arranged on the pool deck.
The spacious terrace comes with an Al Fresco dining area and even an outdoor kitchen with barbecue facilities.
Inside, the villa offers an open-plan living room with plush sofas that you can sink into at the end of an exhilarating day. In the kitchen, you will find an oversized refrigerator with a freezer, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and hob. This space also provides various crockery sets and all the utensils you’ll need to prepare your meals. Savor the fruits of your labor in the generously-sized dining room furnished with a wooden table.
With a stay at Villa Recitano, guests can use the complimentary WiFi to stay in touch with their family or upload their holiday pictures to their social media. The televisions all have satellite connections, making it easy for you to keep up with your favorite movies and shows. Thanks to the on-site washing machine and iron, you can be sure that your clothes will be fresh and wrinkle-free during your holiday in Italy. For your entertainment, there’s even a pool table available at the villa.
Extra facilities are available upon request and for an additional fee. These include wine tours with tasting sessions, maid service, and spa treatments.
With a stay at Villa Recitano, guests will be a short walk from Blue Flag beach, known for its calm lagoon where you can splash in the water or indulge in water sports such as kayaking, snorkeling, deep sea diving, and the likes. This coastal town is also dotted with family-owned restaurants specializing in fresh seafood and Italian specialties.
The villa also lies just six kilometers from the city center of Monopoli where you will find various outlets to indulge in souvenir shopping. In Monopoli, the majority of bars and restaurants are located right by the water’s edge, providing you with soothing views while you dine. Just on the outskirts of Monopoli is found a historical walled town where you can explore ancient buildings that date all the way back to the 12th century.
