A stay in Villa Bleue places you places you in the sunny coastal village of Pointe D’Esny which is known for its picturesque setting and proximity to one of the most historically-charged villages in Mauritius.
All four bedrooms of Villa Bleue are located on the first floor. Facing the ocean, the master bedroom features a queen-sized bed with an antique-style writing desk. This particular bedroom also features spectacular views of the lagoon, enabling you to be lulled to sleep by the gentle sound of the waves crashing against the shore every night. Additionally, the master bedroom has plenty of closet space.
The first and second guest bedrooms are equipped with a double standard bed each, while the third guest room is fitted with a smaller double bed. Baby beds can be set up upon request. All four bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. The master bathroom offers both a shower and a tub, while the guest bathrooms are all equipped with showers.
Should you want to make the most of the gorgeous island weather, you can always enjoy your meals in the outdoor dining area that has been set up on the terrace. Best of all, the terrace directly overlooks the sea, so you can enjoy your meal while enjoying a postcard-like view.
And if you want to enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear ocean, rest assured that you won’t have to go far since the beach is literally on your doorstep. Indeed, all you have to do is cross through the tropical garden to access a stretch of silky fine beach.
Generously-sized and exquisitely inviting, the sprawling living spaces of Villa Bleue are spread across the villa’s ground floor. You will find a beautifully-appointed living room with a comfortable sofa set and a flat-screen television with satellite channels. Free WiFi is available throughout the villa.
Villa Bleue is completely self-catering. As such, the kitchen is fully-equipped with a variety of utensils and equipment that you’ll need to whip up your meals. These include full cutlery sets, Nespresso machine, oven, microwave and much more. A cozy-open plan dining are has been set up right outside the glass-paneled kitchen.
Guests of Villa Bleue receive a welcome pack filled to the brim with shampoos, soaps, dishwasher tablets, teas, olive oil, coffee, sugar and more.
Because holidays are all about getting some well-deserved rest and relaxation, Villa Bleue also offers the complimentary services of a friendly housekeeper who will take care of the cleaning and general maintenance of the villa. As such, all you will have to do in the villa is put up your feet and relax.
If you require, the villa can also arrange for your airport transfer at an extra fee.
A very short drive from the villa is found Mahebourg, a scenic village which is deeply rooted in Mauritius’ rich history. This village still retains vestiges of its colonial past and houses the iconic Mahebourg Museum, where you will find an assortment of old canons and other artefacts that date all the way back to the 1700’s.
Villa Bleue is also close to Blue Bay Marine Park which is ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving or glass bottom boat trips.
