In a prime location at the very foot of the exclusive Kanhadar ski run in Les Houches, Chamonix, Chalet Rubicon boasts over 300 M2 of cozy living spaces accented by dazzling views of the valley. As a guest of the chalet, you have the possibility of renting it on a self-catered or fully-catered basis, depending on your budget and requirements. With 7 bedrooms spread across three floors, this premium chalet in France can comfortably sleep up to 15 people.
On the ground floor is found four bedrooms to accommodate nine people. Three of these rooms have double beds that can be converted into twins if needed while one has three twin beds. The last three bedrooms are located on the second floor and these are all fitted with double beds that can be separated into twins. One of the second-floor bedrooms has its own mezzanine level with a low ceiling. All the rooms and bathrooms provide ample linens, bathrobes, towels, as well as hair dryers.
If you’re visiting Chalet Rubicon, Chamonix in the summer, you can always sit down to Al Fresco meals served on the patio equipped with a table and chairs. After a day full of exciting adventures, your muscles will probably need some TLC so feel free to take a dip into the hot tub while reveling in stunning views of the surroundings. The ground-floor patio provides ample space to relax with friends and family.
After a fun-filled day on the slopes, gather in the living room where you can spread out in front of a gently crackling fire with some hot cocoa and snacks as you relax and exchange stories about your skiing adventures. If you would like some privacy, retreat to the ground floor where you can whip up a meal in the second kitchen to enjoy in the intimacy of your room.
The hub of Chalet Rubicon is located on the first floor: this is where guests can wind down in exquisitely-appointed living quarters, complete with the main kitchen, fireplace, sauna, lounge and an expansive dining area that can seat up to twenty persons. Curl up on one of the plush sofas and enjoy panoramic views of the Grand Massif right from the comfort of the living room. Oversized windows only serve to accentuate the stunning scenery that lies right outside the chalet.
Guests stay at Chalet Rubicon offers the use of indoor sauna and hot tub, free wood for the fireplace, and help with booking ski lessons or passes. In-house equipment fitting and rental are also available.
Located in the quaint town of Chamonix, France, Chalet Rubicon lies just a quick walk from two of the primary lifts that will take you right into the heart of the Les Houches ski area. Make the most of the valley shuttle buses to explore some of Chamonix’s best spots, including gourmet French restaurants.
