Residing at the centre of Courchevel Village (1550) is Chalet Face Nord, a rustic traditional alpine chalet that is defined by heavy use of wood, stone and a Savoyard roof made of lauze (a typical thick and rough stone material). One of the main advantages that this chalet offers is its geographical positioning with a direct orientation towards the panoramic vistas of the Tarentaise mountain range. Its locality is such that guests could conveniently walk into the village and doesn’t veer far from the slopes and ski lifts. The rustic, countryside vibe immediately comes to life with the design of the furniture such as the dining tables, kitchen cabinets and other statement pieces that surround the space. Built with 5 ensuite bedrooms for 12 guests in mind - 10 adults and 2 children - the chalet radiates cosiness and warmth, factors that are further enhanced by the large bay windows that allow for abundance of light to flood in the lounge area or other relaxation spaces. Guests will be pleased to know that they have an indoor Jacuzzi and sauna at their disposal too.
Guests at Chalet Face Nord will be able to easily walk to the village and slopes that are both just 160 metres away. It is the same distance to get to the ski lifts - with the nearest being Tovets. Perched at 1550 metres - hence the derivation of its name Courchevel 1550 - it is an area known for its family-friendly tranquility, yet does not disappoint with the number of ski hire shops available, and a high street that includes a gift shop and post office within the Tourist Office, as well as several restaurants along the main street.
