A majestic and extravagant modernist fortress - that’s how one could describe the property of Can Milna, which occupies a fabulous hillside vantage point, just a short distance from the Es Cubells village. With a charming bohemian vibe emanating through the entire residence, it also casts an intriguing and hippy chic persona for guests that makes Can Milna outstanding and charismatic. There are 3 atmospheric bedrooms that accommodate up to 6 guests, and among its splendid highlights are the magnificent double-height windows and warm honey-colored stone. The outdoors consists of huge sweeping lawns and lush, tree-filled gardens among others, while the indoors are made up of double-height and open plan living space and rustic elements that echo the bohemian theme throughout.
The 3 bedrooms at Can Milna are spread over the ground and first floors of this fortress. First up on the ground floor is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, as well as access to the patio and equipped with an ensuite shower room. Upstairs on the first floor, guests will find the Master Bedroom that is fitted with a king-sized bed, a fireplace, an ensuite bathroom and access to not 1 but 2 private terraces to lounge around! The other bedroom here meanwhile consists of 3 single beddings, its own ensuite bathroom and benefits from a private terrace.
Outside this imposing fortress, guests will be in awe of the sprawling lawns, a rustic flagged terrace and lush, tree-filled gardens to boot. Behind this villa are dark forests of fragrant pines that crawl up the craggy hillsides, and out on the front are stretches of the shimmering Mediterranean sea that beckons. On the grassy banks of the lawn surrounding the private pool is where guests could relax on sun loungers and daybeds, protected by the shade of mature trees. There is also a gazebo canopy as another relaxation spot, with 2 alfresco dining spaces strewn with lots of low cushions for guests to simply dine, laze, take memorable photos or chill out.
The indoors feature a striking living space that is double in height and with an open-plan layout, and a fireplace as its centerpiece with access to the terrace outside. As warm tones bounce off the walls to conjure a chirpy, bright vibe, the well-equipped kitchen is another dreamy spot with its access to the patio, and spruced up by a rustic and superb dining table in the open plan dining hall. Satellite television and a Bose sound system enhance the entertainment amenities, and there is also a washing machine and dryer available for laundry needs.
At Can Milna, housekeeping is offered twice a week to maintain a pristine environment, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their stay. There is a clifftop church whose origins date back to the 19th century, and gorgeous beaches nearby including Cala des Cubells, Ses Bouquets with its rustic, beachside dining and Cala Llentrisca while a little further away lies Es Torrent, Porroig and Cala Jondal. Es Cubells is also considered the start of Ibiza’s prestigious golden mile that runs all the way to Porroig, and has become a much sought-after destination.
