Steeped in French history and culture, guests can immerse themselves in a truly memorable stay at Chateau De L’ Ange, which dates as far back as the 12th century located in Languedoc. Framed by ancient tower walls and grapevines as among its hallmark features, guests will be transported back to imagining the old world of battalions, an onslaught of war, and simply a surreal slice of where the army and generals used to make their defence fortress. In fact, the very walls here once guarded against the Pope’s forces during the Albigensian crusade in the 13th century; today the structure stands as strong and tall as ever, having survived wars and fire. To add on the storytelling magic, feudal lords and the finest ladies have also graced the halls, which are adorned with antiques, family portraits and vintage wallpaper. Its 8 bedrooms today sleep up to 18 guests, which is perfect for an extended family vacation or with a large group of friends.
There are 8 bedrooms spread over 2 storeys of the 3-level chateau. They are found either on the first or second floor. 5 double bedrooms and another triple room are built up on the first floor, where the 3 more double bedroom take center stage on the second floor. The rooms are fancy and rich in its interiors whether with the wallpapers, room furniture and furnishings, and other detailing like chandeliers to portray the opulent days of yore living in a bastion as this. Most are also spacious enough to fit in round coffee tables and armchairs besides the usual wall desks and wardrobes.
The outdoor grounds run the length of 2 hectares in space size consisting of features like a private heated swimming pool measuring 6m X 12m equipped with a security alarm, terraces for outdoor dining or entertainment, as well as a solarium.
