Its near isolated seclusion is what grants Villa Duna Grande its uniqueness and exclusivity, located in the sought-after region of Maremma on the southern coast of Tuscany. With direct access to the beach while surrounded by a romantic farmland, wildlife species and Meditteranean flora, this 5-bedroom villa for 10 guests is indeed a prized accommodation that would be cherished not only for its prime locality and tranquility it affords but also the style and level of comfort. Featuring a generous living and dining room layout that runs along the length of the building, guests will also have unobstructed views of the beachside, in which there is a large pool converted from a water basin for cattle and sheep. Surrounded by a beautiful Meditteranean garden that blends into the dunescape, it is also dotted with local shrubs like myrtle and juniper, as well as the very elusive and highly-protected sand lilies that only emerge during the early summers seasons.
Having 5 bedrooms at this villa meant that a group of 10 guests can be accommodated within. On the ground floor, are 4 rooms in total consisting of 2 king bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms and 2 twin bedrooms sharing a single bathroom. Head up to the first floor and guests will find a spacious Master Suite with a bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a private terrace that overlooks the seaview.
The outdoors of Duna Grande is surrounded by a romantic farmland that teems with wildlife and Mediterranean flora in the gardens, which blend seamlessly into its dune landscape that is further dotted by local shrubs like myrtle and juniper. Guests can also have their fun at the 12m X 5m swimming pool that is fenced, or take a stroll on the terrace that wraps the perimeters of the living, kitchen and dining spaces.
Built over 2 floors, the villa’s excellent restoration to great style and comfort is certainly a boon for guests. There is a generous and spacious living and dining hall that stretches the length of the building and exudes cosy and warm vibes thanks to the use of snug and chic furniture and furnishings that have been carefully curated by the owners. The parquet flooring to the wooden ceiling beams piles on the classic vibe, while pop over to the fully-equipped kitchen and its contemporary design with red cabinets and drawers will certainly make guests want to linger here even after cooking, what with its ample room to park themselves around including a second dining table set to dine on.
The housekeeping team provides maid service, final cleaning as well as the change of bed and bath linens for guests, as part of the rent package. There is also complimentary WiFi Internet access, HiFi stereo and satellite television for entertainment, while other services on request are also available like central heating and cook for hire.
Guests can conveniently reach the beach which is fenced off and can be accessed via a private gate. It is far from the public access side that hence grants guests the privacy and exclusivity needed. Also available is a beach club with a friendly bar just about 100metres down the beach while one of Italy’s trendiest beach clubs is located 15km further up the coast. Meanwhile, an outing can be made to the nearest village about 4km away called Pescia Romana, where guests can find charming shops such as a bakery, butcher store, a supermarket, a newsstand, and a bar or cafe for a daily coffee fix. Another beautiful hilltop village is known as Capalbio that is only a distance of 11km or 13 minutes away.
