Sitting on extensive landscaped grounds which blend into the olive groves and estate fields, Apartment Lentisco that is part of Villa Fontanili is a ground floor property with a generous and spacious layout for 6 guests. Housing 3 comfortable bedrooms, guests will be pleased that it is a self-contained terraced unit and features very homey, charming and tasteful modern comfort for its interiors. Being part of Villa Fontanili means it is surrounded by trees and there is a nearby beach for guests to have a frolicking time by the sea and sand. Entrance into the apartment is via its dining room and just behind is a garden which guests can chill and have their alfresco meals. A charming country road leads through sweet smelling Mediterranean maquis from the villa to the private gate and finally to the beach.
There are 3 bedrooms at Villa Fontanili-Lentisco that are all on the ground floor, which sleep 6 guests. There is a double bedroom installed with lovely French windows that open out to the gardens outside, as well as 2 twin bedrooms. The rooms are spick-and-span with a modern countryside feel to them, accentuated by charming nooks and corners fitted with furniture like writing desks, side tables and single chair sofas to enhance the vibe.
The outdoor grounds feature the garden that is equipped with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, as well as the common swimming pool of 18m X 6m with an adjoining paddling pool that is hidden by rose and lavender bushes, and which make a great spot for families - adults and kids alike. Deck chairs and sunbeds line the pool area here, complete with shower facilities for guests to use before or after their swim. As the apartment is part of Villa Fontanili, guests have at their disposal extensive grounds to bask themselves and hang around, as the surroundings blend effortlessly into olive groves and the estate fields.
Cosy and countryside-themed are adjectives that come to define the interiors of this apartment, where the use of charming furnishings and homey furniture add to the overall intimate atmosphere. Its living room features a lovely white-built fireplace contrasted against the floral sofas and other pastel-colored furnishings, and over in the dining room, is a cosy space with a wooden dining table and wooden chairs for guests to have their meals. The kitchen with its marble surface top and wooden cabinets and storage drawers complete this home.
Guests have complimentary WiFi Internet for use throughout their stay here. As part of the rent package, the housekeeping team will provide change of bath and bed linens, and also carry out final cleaning services. A few bicycles are also available on the premises for guests’ use to explore nearby sites and attractions.
There is a beach just about 3km from the villa which features fine sand and a multitude of colorful seashells. Deck chairs and sunbeds are available for lazy summer afternoons in the cool breeze. Further down the beach is where guests will find 2 beach clubs to have coffee, snacks, drinks or light meals. Behind the beach are dunes covered with a delightful labyrinth of wild aromatic bushes like myrtle and cistus-roses which bloom at different times of the year. The Fontanili estate also borders Lake Burano which is a lagoon run by WWF where guests could spend some time doing some excellent bird watching especially during autumn and spring.
