Sitted on the Lurin hillside near to Gustavia is the newly built Villa Edunia, which has full floor to ceiling windows that overlooks the blue skies and blue sea. This amazing retreat features 4 beautiful bedrooms, 4 spacious bathrooms, open plan living area, chic kitchen, large terrace, gas BBQ, sundeck and heated infinity pool and many more, ideal big families or several couples travelling together. The vistas is particularly stunning at sunset. The home was named after contemporary British-American artist Eduardo Kac whose work is displayed throughout the home and in the soft Carribean colours as well as warm-toned natural wood. That attractiveness combined with the ample windows allow the cool island breeze to waft through creating a comfortable and serene vibes.
With four lovely ensuite bedrooms spread across two levels, all rooms comes with super plush twin beds (covertible into king), programmable safe to store important documents, HD and Apple TV. For added comfort, all rooms also have a ceiling fan and are airconditioned. Each of the rooms have ocean views while bedroom 1 have direct access to the pool area.
The ensuite bathroom is spacious with high quality fixtures, fine toiletries, vanities and relaxing rain shower.
The outdoor space is on both sides. Out front, the best view to the sea beckons with the main outdoor space by the heated infinity pool extending out to the front where a large dining table (great to dine alfresco style) and a very comfortable seating area sits. The pool area under the shade of the trees, is a popular gathering spot. At the back, is a grassy garden space which makes a wonderful spot for children to play, a grill area (with a gas BBQ) and a further seating area (very cosy one) and loungers placed to full benefit from the unimpeded views, the layout of the retreat encourages experiencing the setting, whether inside or out. Relax and enjoy the beautiful sceneries on the many plush sunloungers (and parasol) lining the vast sun deck/terrace while enjoying a glass of chilled juice or wine. The roof and vaulted ceiling of the indoor living area extends over this terrace, giving parts of it protection from the sun and the sporadic tropical rain, and unifying the design of the entire property.
The entrance leads to an incredibly large living room with its state of the art entertainment system (HD and AppleTV) and inspired furnishings (lovely white sofas that is so comfortable), overlooking the large swimming pool facing the ocean. Huge floor to ceiling glass doors opens up to the outdoor areas ensuring every moment of scenery is not missed whether guests are preparing meals in the gourmet-friendly kitchen with its open air design, and high-end appliances (oven, microwave, toaster, espresso machine, coffee maker, juicer, blender, refrigerator and dishwasher), sitting at the breakfast bar or dining area, or relaxing in the living area. This area can be closed off and air-conditioned or completely open on both sides.
