“Hygge” in every sense of the word; the 5 bedroom converted barn to chalet brings guests well-being and comfort as described in its Dutch name; Chalet Hygge. Located in the authentic mountain village of Le Raffort, a short 2km distance from Meribel, Chalet Hygge is positioned in an ideal area for guests to have easy accessibility for those who wish to shop, ski or dine out. The converted barn house is absolute luxury, from its high ceilings to the wooden interiors, encompassing a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a perfect rest area from a day out on the slopes.
The 175m2 property hosting 8 adults and 4 children oozes charm and luxury sprawled across the spacious 3 floors. The chalets ground floor consists of three bedrooms with complete bathrooms comprising of 2 double bedrooms and a room with bunk beds for the children. The first floor hosts a double bedroom and the top level is fitted out with the master bedroom; all bedrooms well-appointed and with TV’s. The cosy living space is the perfect retreat to rest those weary legs after a day out on the slopes. The living room boasts a comfy oversized sofa with views out through the expansive windows over the beautiful mountain side. Guests can also enjoy the fireplace and flat screen Satellite TV.
The Chalet Hygge’s fully equipped kitchen ensures guests dining in with ease, as the chalets well-appointed kitchen is complete with raclette machine, fondue appliances, Nespresso machine, induction hob, oven, dishwasher and washer and drying machines. The dream chalet for snow lovers also comprises of private parking, boots heater and a ski locker.
The chalet's ground floor consists of three bedrooms with complete bathrooms comprising of two double bedrooms and a fun bedroom with bunk beds for four, simply perfect for the younger members of the group. The first floor hosts a double or twin bed bedroom with a bathroom The top floor is fitted out with the master bedroom; all bedrooms are lovely and warm, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for a great night’s rest. Each of the bedrooms is equipped with TVs, bathrobes, and slippers, and is the ultimate in Alpine chic. A wonderful night's rest is ensured with high quality bedding, crisp linens, and comfy duvets and blankets. The lovely master suite has a balcony, perfect for a morning coffee or late nite drink.
The bathrooms are high end chic, very modern yet warm, and imbued with a real country feel, with the use of stone and timber very much in keeping with the rustic style of the chalet. Each bathroom has large vanities, towel warmers and walk-in showers. Towels and toiletries are supplied.
The dream chalet for snow lovers also comprises private parking, a boots heater, and a ski locker. The chalet boasts large terraces and balconies, wonderful for enjoying the crisp mountain air and spectacular views.
There is space for the younger ones to enjoy in all seasons, either making the best ever snowman or looking for wildflowers in the milder seasons. The sheer joy of watching family and friends skiing directly in and out of the property is memorable.
The spectacular Chalet Hygge is three floors of ultimate Alpen luxury, enmeshed with the best of modern amenities. The lower ground floor is home to three bedrooms, an independent toilet, and a Hamman, the ideal way to ease those achy muscles after a fun day on the slopes. The next level is home to the cosy living space and is the perfect retreat to enjoy the most glorious views over the towering pine forests and mountain slopes. The living room boasts comfy oversized sofas with views out through the expansive windows over the beautiful mountainside. Guests can also enjoy the stunning wood-burning fireplace, flat-screen Satellite TV and the delightful decor. Faux fur, quirky touches, and timber create a feeling of comfort and warmth with a true Alpen feel.

Guests will enjoy the spacious dining area, a wonderful spot to enjoy long delicious meals with family and friends with the spectacular views as a stunning backdrop.
The delightful chalet has a resort concierge available with any questions and to welcome you to the chalet. The housekeeping staff will have thoroughly deep cleaned the property and made the beds freshly for your arrival and clean the chalet at end of your stay.
A baby cot and chair are available on request.
The chalet is located in the heart of the Le Raffort village therefore easy access to the local restaurants and shops is skiable. The L'Atelier and Le Martagon are highly recommended and enjoyed by guests.
Chalet Hygge is located 5 minutes away from Meribal Village and Meribel centre where guests can find ski schools, the main ski lifts and more dining options.
The airport Courchevel is a mere 35 minute drive from the comfort of the chalet and Moutier train station approximately 20km distance away.
